100% spot on. He found out he was 'Plan B'. Her retirement plan.

Honestly, I think there's probably some missing details in this story that were not mentioned for a good reason. Her BF was pissed about something and saw an opportunity to drop a bomb on her. In this case, it was a neutron bomb. He had to have known it was a relationship ending comment. He wanted to kill it and then twist the knife.

Agreed. My wife and I have had sex once in the last 8 years. Two kids (early-mid teens). It IS mental. I am just an ATM lately and we have separate bedrooms for now. I am hoping to meet someone (else) someday soon. The pandemic is a pain in the ass. God, I am lonely.

Being the "safe option" is safe... for HER. For the guy, you are in constant jeopardy. Safe means you are not highly desired. You are tolerable and non-threatening. She will stay with you until she finds a better option. When she does, she will drop you in an instant.

I was just kidding about the flowers. Where I am from, the guys usually have to so something to get a date. I have never been on a date that required a 0$ outlay from me. I've been out of the dating market for a bit. How do you have sex on a walk date? Sounds... tricky. In the end, orgasms aren't guaranteed. I think most guys would prefer it if their date climaxed. Basically, it's a sex competency test. If she can't/won't, I don't think you can automatically ascribe evil intent on the guys behal…

Jesus Christ... Ok, if they both 'get off' then it is an equal exchange. That was assumed. Gents, you need to go down on her! Hold your nose if you have to. If they both orgasm then the guy loses because he usually has to pay for dinner and the flowers. And what about gas for his car? That ain't free either. As you can now see, men always lose and the system is rigged against us. You will have to pry my victimhood from my cold dead hands.

I disagree. They both men and women get sex. Period. It ain't much, but you make it sound like guys walk away with cash prizes on top of it. It is an equal exchange. People who say otherwise are seeking pity for a loss that never occurred.

No. Split the bill on the first few dates. Women have admitted going on dates with guys they have ZERO interest in just to get a free meal. Want to piss a guy off? Take advantage of him and then brag about it on the Internet. The problem here is that guys can read too. I don't understand the virgin obsession though. It is a head-scratcher for me. Obviously, if the gal has 200 partners you might want to avoid her for several legitimate reasons.

Not entitled. That is a HUGE one for me. Biggest problem in my current relationship. I want out.

Is someone forcing you to eat? If you're offered food you don't want, just politely say "no thanks" (friendly). My godawful wife is a militant vegan. She uses it as an excuse to begin lecturing people about the evils of eating animal products (not friendly). I hope to divorce soon. Fit, Feminine, and Friendly should not be too much to ask. Women have a whole shopping list for men. When guys ask for 3 basic things they're called unreasonable children. Bullshit. Women who complain about it are jus…

Agreed. That's what ai am looking at. I have several years to go before my youngest is out of high school. It will be a long time being lonely... and broke. My "soul mate" keeps maxing out my credit card because I am nothing more than an ATM in this "union". Seriously, fuck marriages.

Don't marry because everyone around you is doing it. I did that. It's a fucking disaster. I regret my choice every single day and I am MUCH worse off than if I would have remained a bachelor. Over 80% of all marriages are abject failures. More than 50% end in divorce. Out of the remaining marriages 1 out of 3 are lonely. Even if they aren't lonely, it doesn't mean that their suppose it's providing the companionship (cut it in half again at a minimum). One study stated that after 10 years only 17…
