| -4 | For those of you in relationships, are men's rights something you actively discuss with your partner?I know, I just apologized to end the argument that dragged on for weeks. It hasn't happened any other time because I make sure to choose my words well. She is a good person overall, she just blindly believes the usual things most others do like the wage gap, one of her friends is also a "KAM" kind of feminist, so I do think that a lot of the reason she reacts in such a way. As long as I don't bluntly challenge her ideas, I don't think there will be many more arguments about this topic and we mig… | /r/MensRights | 19/03/22 07:35 PM |
For those of you in relationships, are men's rights something you actively discuss with your partner?I have, it has not turned out well for me and in the end, I had to apologize for it. She just isn't good at any kind of debate or argument, so I've decided to slowly put my ideas I'm a more acceptable way until I can be upfront about it. She's a good person, so I'd rather not leave if possible. | /r/MensRights | 19/03/22 03:53 PM
For those of you in relationships, are men's rights something you actively discuss with your partner?I tiptoe around it, but I always have to twist my ideas into something that won't cause an argument. For example, instead of flatly saying that the draft should include every fit adult or nobody, I said that if I were someone who fought for having equal rights, it wouldn't really be equal if only one side had to pay for their rights while the other could stay safe. I usually have to twist them more, but this was the conversation we had yesterday. Edit: spelling mistakes. | /r/MensRights | 19/03/22 11:53 AM

The problem with this is that they merely look at averages without considering other variablesBruh, they've deleted all comments that criticize the stats. All they are doing is making themselves look bad. | /r/AntiFeminists | 05/03/22 09:57 PM
They ignore the reasons why we’re anti feminist and resort to calling us misogynistsNah, that's usually an add on to the misogynist hurling | /r/AntiFeminists | 02/03/22 12:27 PM
There are no feminist foxholes. It's sarcasm, but you also know that all of them don't want to fight in a war that badly after learning of WW1 and 2 | /r/AntiFeminists | 01/03/22 11:33 AM
Is it wrong that I don’t want to take women on dates because in the past year I have not gotten a thank you for paying on all the dates. If they can't even entertain the idea of splitting the bill, I don't think they'll thank you. | /r/MensRights | 23/02/22 08:54 PM
Female friend complained about not getting DUI ticket because cop found her attractiveIf someone complains to me about something like this, I will show my full support and tell them that they should have been given consequences and that I wholeheartedly hope that they do face what they dodged next time they are caught. That is the only right reaction to this kind of complaint where they have gotten off a ticket by just going with some mild flirting in my eyes. | /r/MensRights | 14/02/22 10:52 AM

Unknown Unknowns of Male SufferingI feel like it's trying to say that these men don't speak up for a reason and are also let out of consideration when talking about issues like SA and DV. These two things combined will only serve to repress more guys since more people will end up thinking that men aren't worth considering as victims in these conversations, so this cycle should stop at its most crucial point and start considering men within these conversations to bring awareness and support forward while reducing the existing sti… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 02/02/22 01:16 PM
THIS IS NOT OKAY, THE VICTIM HERE IS BEING PUNISHED FOR BEING RAPED. IMAGINE IF THE GENDER ROLES WERE SWAPPEDIndia has basically no protection from false accusations of rape against guys. Guys also can't even be raped by a woman according to the law there, so she wouldn't really get much apart from a slap on the wrist. | /r/MensRights | 01/02/22 08:58 PM
“But women have been oppressed for millennia”They meant that as in "it always takes 1 man and 1 woman to make a kid, so the fact that you exist means that you have roughly the same amount of "oppressed female ancestors" as anyone else your age". | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 01/02/22 02:54 PM

Dating as a male advocateI haven't told my partner about it because she isn't very good with debates since she tends to get emotional about these topics. I can get along with her without bringing it up and I mostly just keep these things to myself irl because of how strongly most of the people around be oppose criticism against feminism. It is disheartening to know that, but you can't discuss anything if the other side isn't willing to listen properly and I doubt that I'd find someone better to be with since most others… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 13/01/22 12:35 AM
UN itself considers that equality is when women live five years longer than men ! They also say that positive discrimination is bad if it is to help men's healthOne of the things they do have is trust from a lot of the world. That trust is very obviously being used badly from what we've seen from the UN | /r/MensRights | 06/01/22 11:56 AM
Sources for debunking common feminist mythsWe value pearls, pigs do not. If you show pearls to pig, it means nothing and is a waste of time. | /r/MensRights | 06/01/22 11:51 AM
My mother blatantly said "This is called karma for what men have done to women"You might want to show her how this logic sounds when applied in other areas, like by asking "So do you also support the family crimes in North Korea, where if you did a crime, your children and grandchildren may have to suffer consequences despite being innocent? No? Well how is that different from saying that the inequality in university admissions is the karma of what men have done in the past when I haven't done anything like what they did?" | /r/MensRights | 26/11/21 05:38 AM
I might be framed for rape. It's better for them to say that he has had no contact at all rather than say that they are close enough to have met in private | /r/MensRights | 16/11/21 11:23 AM
How do you have discourse with someone who has adopted a mindset that their trauma is "high and mighty" above all others? To put it simply, you cannot make someone understand what you're saying if they never listened to you and took the time to understand you in the first place. Your words just seem like something that's poisonous to take in to them and so they blindly belittle your point or even outright reject it because of their narcissistic belief that the world should change for their problems and in that moment, you'd be their problem. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 12/11/21 07:09 AM
Why does feminism do such a poor job of dealing with men’s issues?Any help to men from the movement mostly seems to be a side effect of achieving their own goals, they don't seem to want to go out of their way in order to deal with issues like make circumcision because it doesn't relate to their goal and is thus irrelevant to them. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 12/11/21 06:57 AM
How to explain to a feminist that 'kill all men' is disgustingIkr, they want to kill all Black men, Trans men, Islamic men, Indian men, Gay men, male feminist, Disabled men, and the list goes on. Such a Xenophobic statement. | /r/MensRights | 12/11/21 05:35 AM
How to explain to a feminist that 'kill all men' is disgustingPlus isn't that statistic from a British college campus? I didn't know that the whole world could be considered as a British college campus now. | /r/MensRights | 12/11/21 05:31 AM
How to explain to a feminist that 'kill all men' is disgustingA joke usually has a punchline, so I guess you could try explaining how saying "I want you and every other man you know, or will know, dead" isn't much of a joke in any way, shape, or form. You could also question why she doesn't just say Kill All Rapists, since women can be rapists too and everyone can agree that rape is bad no matter who does it. You can also mention that women can do just about every crime a man can and have also probably done all those crimes already, so chocolate theory can… | /r/MensRights | 12/11/21 05:19 AM
