Well from an evolutionary perspective it makes sense that a man who can sleep with multiple women would sleep with multiple women. It increases the chances of their genes being passed on to the next generation and it is the way things seem to work with a lot of animals.

For me it's more that I'm sad because no one wants me. And sometimes it just feels somehow carthartic to wallow in it and have a space to complain about it because sometimes it just sucks.

From what I understand its a very efficient way to animate running. If youre keeping legs out of frame you pretty much can just bob a still image upsidedown and convey that the characters are running without drawing several frames to animate arm movement. Also it looks cool

Well if the kids are beautiful they probably aren't mine. :P It's actually not particularly easy to answer. I don't realistically think I have what it takes to flourish in either situation and if I did then I would be an entirely different person than I am now. Like I don't want kids because I'd be a terrible dad but if I could be a good dad then maybe I'd be the kind of person who would want kids. I am currently living as a bachelor but I'm not generally attractive to women so I'm having sex wi…

I meant it a bit tongue in cheek but he is berating people publicly on social media for berating people publicly on social media which whiffs a bit of hypocrisy. I would say that the people he berates generally deserve it where their victims didn't but this no doubt gives the offending videos much more attention than they would have otherwise gotten and a video of a persons riddicule finds a much larger audience than it otherwise would have.

So in the case of your original statement it can kind of be both. It's both moving towards (Positive) the undesirable outcome that is the state of dating culture today but it's also moving away from (Negative) the ideal dating culture where people are just honest and kind to each other.

I think he's referring to those gym tik tok influencers who berate "pervs" for views and likes that usually end up in a Joe Swoll Tik Tok where he berates infulencers for berating people for views and likes and then people view his videos and like them but he's certainly not doing the exact same thing while giving an inane vindictive video that would otherwise have just faded into obscurity more visibility than if he had just left it alone and minded his own business.

If it's a cycle of negativity as seems to be the case in what you're talking about wouldn't that be a negative feedback loop or am I misunderstanding the phrase?

Nope, no inbetween :P I think I phrased that too harshly and didn't quite say what I meant. What I'm talking about (in my last paragraph) is basically if you're just not getting any interest from women at all. People seem to assume that you must have had some interest so they then conclude either: That you are mistaken and/ or niave and you probably have been hit on and not realised. I have been hit on before but she was quite drunk and twice my age, so maybe that was my shot and I'm being too p…

I mean I use those kinds of service and am a punter. (I wouldn't continue punting in a monogamous relationship and I don't think I'd feel inclined to in any relationship) In itself I don't see accepting someone who did sex work in being particularly different from accepting someone who has used sex workers services. So yeah I wouldn't see it as a problem.

As far as I can see it the issues of the dating scene boil down to this: The problem for women is who to choose. The problem for men is who they can get. In this regard dating for women is only difficult if they are being selective while men on the otherhand are just trying to be selected. It is more complicated than that ofcourse, women also take on most of the risk in dating in terms of biology. Women get pregnant, their maximum potential strength is lower than with men so are at more risk if …

Firstly: There are so many bad facebook memes that illustrate that a lot of men actually want a boring dutiful wife. Second: When have I ever said this applies to just one gender? You seem to be continuously refuting strawman arguments that no one made.

I think it's kind of rude but it's worse if you ghost but don't unmatch. Just leaving a guy hanging... I have no idea if you're just afk, if you got distracted and forgot a bout the conversation whether you're taking a break from the app, if I said something unintenionally offensive or if you've decided I'm not a good match for you. There are several reasons for someone not to be replying to a message. It's not really fair to leave a guy guessing. If you're ghosting a guy make it clear that's wh…

I'm not sure what about what I just said made you think I was unaware of this about humans? But anyway yes, people do crave entertainment and excitement but if these cravings are leading to unpleasant and sometimes dangerous situations then perhaps the prioritisation of entertainment and excitement over everything else is problematic.

It's not so much envy, but if simply being anodyne is a greater barier to success in dating than being an asshole and behaving in an actively detrimental manner then it feels like something is wrong.

Thats a pretty reductive way of thinking about people. If someone picks an abusive partner it doesn't mean they crave that abuse. And even if they did I don't really see a likely scenario where that would be an insurmountable problem. Also Im not a great partner myself I'm timid, I lack ambition and I'm insecure in myself. If I'm not willing to accept flaws who is going to accept mine? Also please don't refer to people as "holes" do better.

If she'd have me, I'd probably give her a chance. "Damaged" doesn't define a person. If she's kind, curious and caring that's what really matters to me. But if she doesn't like metal music it's over.

I'm not really sure anyone's at fault but it does feel like a bit of a slap in the face knowing that literal psychopaths are more romantically successful than me. Like I'm kind of ugly and a bit boring but I'm a nice guy (like seriously, I have references), I'm patient and caring and I try to understand people and where they're coming from yet the guy who throws tantrums when his girlfriend doesn't wash his undies for his job interview while he's playing video games all day. I can't help thinkin…

Well for one thing it's not a systematic issue its a cultural issue. You not meeting the arbitrary standards of some women by splitting the bill is not akin to the right to education or the right to work. And not all women expect you to foot the bill. It's an FDS thing and players will try to get as much as they can out of you (because male or female that's what players do). But it's not like its a legal requirement.

Because it's positive sexism. If you could get free stuff just because you were a man would you really try to change that? You'd be shooting yourself in the foot.

I think the challenge for men is to find a woman to go out with. I feel like for women the challenge is more which man to go out with. If a typical man were to pick a girlfriend with the same scrutiny that women pick men he'd almost definitely die alone. In that sense it's harder for men.

I'm a little jealous of other peoples romantic success in contrast to my own failure. But I swallow those feelings because they're not constructive or kind. I certainly wouldn't ever say that a friend was unworthy of anyone or anything. But that said things like that are sometimes just meant as banter?

As a man I like having a relatively low expectation for beauty regimen. I tried shaving my body once to see if it was for me and I wouldn't want to do it again, it's such a faff. Having a wizz standing up is quite handy.

I've always been a bit envious of womens range of fashion choices. It also seems to often be softer materials than mens stuff.

And I suppose even then those are just fantasies, I'd consider that I fantasize quite heavily about being dominant however I'm also a pretty nervous person by default so I don't think I DO domination very well at all.

I'm kind of ugly, pretty shy, a bit boring and I generally don't like myself that much so I'm not great at openning up or selling myself to others. Also maybe my sense of humour Aside from that any girl I seem to build a rapport with is already in a relationship by the time I've met them. There are a few chances I may have missed in my teens out of stupidity and some chances at clubs because because I assumed some unwritten rules of clubbing that it turns out people generally don't play by? Na…

There are individual aspects of FDS ideology that I think actually have merit. Reading some of the stories about guys on there are unbelievable and some of the ideas make sense but if you're talking about someone who adheres to all aspects of the ideology then no I don't think I'd want to spend much time with them at all. People talking of being queens, kings, wolves or other fanciful things irritate me. What's wrong with just being two people? Also everything being a challenge and a game all th…

Is it a significant portion of men who are against women working? And are you sure it's the same men that dislike women being dependant upon a man? I don't think most guys I know are like that so I kind of wonder whether your perspective may be skewed because only guys who think like that feel the need to tell women how to live and the rest of us just let you do you. Or maybe my perception is skewed because being a man I'm not the target of these mens criticisms. For me I think the only thing th…
