According to FBI statistics, out of 127,258 rapes reported to police departments in 2018, 33.4 percent resulted in an arrest. Not only are rape underreported, but most don't rapes don't get prosecuted because of the lack of primary evidence. Unless the victim has video footage or something, the rapist gets away.
