You can try to use clues to determine if she is interested, but sometimes it will be much easier if you start talking to her anyway and don't guess much.

That's interesting. And I think that there is a deeper problem, at least for me. That are always some behaviors that are allowed, encouraged or prohibited in specific social situations. Being myself and having fun it's easy once I calibrate - but calibration is socially determined. If I have the urge to kick someone in the ass, this is probably not allowed in a club, so having fun and being myself is not at all what an option. And more. I am pretty crabby sometimes, and I feel at ease being crab…

Hey, that sounds abstract, "to have fun".. how would he have fun?

The AI came to my mind because of the movie Ex Machine!

I think the guy has a point. All in all, people do mundane things all the time, like complaining or having lunch. Maybe you are thinking about accomplishing something special, like creating an AI? then you would have something really interesting to talk about, but I doubt that most people would like to hear you out about your AI. Mostly, you would just be slightly famous.

I feel like it is just how we deal with anxiety. We can see it for what it is and have fun. Or we can be overwhelmed. I feel like there is a volume button we can control, but we don't know how to control it.

Thanks for sharing! Find the ones that are dressing up and going out with their girls and acting single Do you consider flirting - looking, smiling, showing up, texting etc. - an act of a single girl? Sometimes I feel the girls are just flirting for fun, no interest in having sex. But it could be that they are just afraid of doing it.
/r/seduction15/06/15 03:18 PM

I think most people miss the point here, because it is so faint anyway. Anxiety may never go away, not just in approaches, but in every important situation in our lives.

We all have little confidence sometimes, and we all have confidence sometimes, and I am not sure that a lot of confidence will get you more girls just because of it. The thing is - you talk to them regardless of how you feel. I myself get my hands shaking sometimes. Once I could barely hold my phone. And this was not a direct problem, so I think.
/r/seduction10/06/15 08:50 PM

You have to overcome shyness, and don't do drugs to cope with stress. Also, be fit and talk to people.
/r/seduction10/06/15 01:26 PM

Yes, creepy. Just say hi, introduce yourself and tell her you are in charge of the internet, so if she needs something she can call you. Or just be direct and say to her she is cute and and that you want to know her better.
/r/seduction10/06/15 01:18 PM

I don't think it is necessary to beat this feeling. You just notice it and talk to the girl anyway. Let her decide she is too hot for you - which is something that almost never happens anyway, because it is more realistic that she is going to think that you are not hot enough for her, or that you are.
/r/seduction09/06/15 01:21 PM

To make a girl approach? Not possible because it's not possible to control other people. But, for instance, you can send IOIs to lots of girls and don't approach any of them, and see what happens. Tell us later the results of this experiment. Don't forget to send approach invitations, too. And flirt in a more "feminine" way - like being around them.
/r/seduction27/04/15 06:40 PM
1

Just force an IOI, like wave to her, smile (but not a forced smile) or say hi with your lips. She will respond, somehow, and you will have a better idea if she is into you.

Probably it's just lack of sexual escalation. Escalate and have fun.
/r/seduction25/02/15 06:06 PM

So it is logical to get nervous? Maybe not so mutually exclusive after all.
/r/seduction19/12/14 08:55 AM

I'm somehow like you. The self-sabotage talk doesn't make much logic sense, since if I'm self-sabotaging me, who is this part of me that can create a sabotage plan? The /r/NoFap have the potential to make everybody think differently, so it is a thing to try. My personal theory for now? I think the picky mindset is a byproduct of my intentions - I don't really want to get into a relationship right now, so it is just an emotional response to my rational desires - and vice-versa.
/r/seduction26/10/14 12:16 AM

This is somehow inline with what girls have usually said to me. I've rarely listen to a girl saying "you're attractive" or "you're handsome" - I suppose this doesn't mean much to them -, but a ton of times they said "I'm attracted to you" or "I like you". Although, if I keep thinking about this, it just seems to be a different point perspective to same thing.

But why would you show affection? Do you feel it? Usually early on people just feel curiosity, sexual interest and this kind of emotions. I have the impression that affection is something that builds with time.
/r/seduction04/10/14 07:07 PM
1

Is it important to show affection early on? I think this could creep them out, because you could qualify yourself as a high maintenance guy, while she is interested in knowing you and in developing her sexual feelings towards you.

Sometimes it is funny to play this games with a girl, to be flirty and pretend nothing ever happened. Sometimes she has nice things to say, she is smart, and the flirty friendship is very nice. These cases are fine! Don't escalete too much, be cool. Other times the girl is very immature, insecure, needs validation all the time, and maybe we just want to fuck them. Then it is fine to escalate and cease the relationship, or to fuck them, depending on what they want.

I had girls complaining I took too long to say hi, just because I said hi the second time I saw them. And if I take too long to break the ice when a girl is by my side and displays any dubious IOI whatsoever, sometimes the girl becomes uncomfortable - does she think I'm pre-rejecting her? I don't know. They never think that I could be too shy. Maybe it is a cultural thing and we are supposed to be nice around strangers. Flirting is an integral part of our lives, even with friends. I'm not very g…

I'm from Brazil, maybe things are different here. When a girl is interested and I give the slightest indication that I find them hot, and I don't act, usually they think I'm creepy. Much less creepy is being rejected.

You argument is quite solid, because this should be a man's general behavior. Women are no different from other people here. The difference should be the existence of awesome sex. I myself pay for lots of dates, simply because lots of women earn less than me, sometimes a lot less. A poor country here, Brazil.

Of course, a # of men may not be having sex, as some women may not have sex, but the OP states this: Men have always been the disposable sex. It's the biological truth of our species. The number of wombs in a tribe represented its most important resource: the capacity for reproduction. This is untrue. Men in general is not disposable. If women were more important, the sex ratio would be different because it would be an advantage.

This is untrue. If the sex ratio is 1:1 (the probability of male vs. female), then there is no disposable sex. Both are equally important. See the Fischer's principle.

This is somehow sad. I had an experience like this last year. A beautiful eighteen, smart. I still remember her looking at me while I was cooking something. Oh god! She never met me again.

Nice observations about the shit tests. I catch myself shitesting people constantly, and I hate it. Maybe you could write the book, because you seem to have a good insight into it. At least an article to put to sale on Amazon kindle. :)

I think we should go for the girls we feel seduced by. Sometimes I see a girl that is not so pretty, but somehow I want her, maybe because she is slim, funny, upbeat, young, older than me, sexy when she walks etc, or just because she likes me. Most of the time I feel embarrassed and don't even talk to her, though. Who am I to say something? :)

I can relate to this, but you can make indirect approaches to start with. This way you could use the plausible deniability.

But! if OP acted like a regular 53yo, then he would be fat and sad, right? The mindset he talks about put him into /r/Fitness and got him laid, risky laid, right? Attitude + body.

Say hi, introduce yourself, make small talk, then escalate the interaction into something sexual, as soon as possible. If it does not work, think about what you did and try again with some other girl.
/r/seduction30/07/14 03:46 AM

Next time you see her you say "hi, my name is spyhomer". And you do this with more people, especially girls.

You're very helpful. What about guys with a little bit of social anxiety? Are they better off trying to make small talk with people before approaching?

Two approaches per day without knowing anything about the girls?
/r/seduction02/06/14 03:17 AM
1

Yeah, you're correct. But, if the chance to being rejected is x, then not being rejected is 1-x. With n interactions, the chance of being rejected all times is xn, so the chance of not being rejected all times is 1 - xn. Let's say your success rate is 10%, then with 10 interactions you have a 1 - 0.910 = 0.65 - 65% chance - of not being rejected all times. With 20 interactions, 1 - 0.920 = 0.88 and so on.

I watched it, but relating to body language, I cannot apply it in real life. Everything they try to teach is somehow obscure, and when I'm talking to people, a lot of things seem to be random.

Since I am not an English language native, I appreciate these corrections. It would cost me 200 dollars per month to have a good English teacher around here.

I understand the frustration. Sadly, nothing to be done. You must live on, because trying to understand someone like her is impossible without her help.

Girls are not perfect, you know? Only she could explain what's happening, well, if she knows something. A girl I liked a lot just disappeared too, and we were great together. Some people are very bad at communicating their feelings, and I just hope they are not suffering too much with what they did.
