I agree the bumbling father thing is over done but I'm just saying I don't care. I enjoys seeing positive male figures on TV and in Movies but funny is funny. I don't complain when you have the helpless females roles because that can also be funny.

Agreed. This article couldn't have said it better. Both the feminism and the mens rights movement have the same end goal. Everyone wants to be treated the same. While we're talking about it. Who gives a shit if men are portrayed as bumbling idiots on the Simpsons? That shit is funny.

I think she was actually talking about the sex questions he asked her. However, they were there to talk about her book and all that is in the book. I say its fair game.

I could be way off basis on this but I think the "honest woman" thing has everything to do with sex. "Honest" women do not have sex before marriage. I think its kind of a wink wink saying that means you can now be honest about what you were doing anyway.
