Don’t let it take away from the fact that you probably have been able to enjoy sex and don’t suffer from a botched job. Careful with that argument. Religion is not a good reason to violate a child’s rights. Religious reasons that compel an adult to go through with it are fine. No other religious act is allowed in violation of human rights. Edit : imagine a religion that compelled parents to cut their girls. Yes, you’ll find that almost everyone against it is against non medically necessary circumcision on children only. Most (I would think) are fine with adults choosing to get it of their own volition. Or having it done to children where it’s medically necessary

Those exact same benefits are provided by running water, condoms, and antibiotics (which in fact do a better job). No other body part is removed preemptively on the basis it MIGHT develop a very RARE and highly TREATABLE disease or ailment. Especially not from non consenting children
