Immediate campus protests took place and a statement was released Jones, noting that, "Students, who are black women, stated that racial slurs were used by the perpetrators whom they described as a group of 10 to 12 white males and females." Jones found "no place for racial intolerance," and the university was taking a "stand against bias, violence and hatred." After the hoax came to light... Jones said he saw no need to apologize

Unemployment is low but so is full employment. The job numbers that have gone up are entirely low-wage, part-time, no-benefits gigs. Is that really a success, to you? More people working more hours for less pay and less security? The economy hasn't been boosted a great deal either. You don't know what you're talking about LMAO. Stop projecting, kid. It doesn't matter how many black slaves there were in England when they are profiting off selling them to the United States. Bristol alone had over 500,000 slaves brought through the city. British traded over 1,615,309 guns to west Africa for slaves between 1796 to 1806 alone. Britain followed in the footsteps of the Portuguese in voyaging to the west coast of Africa and enslaving Africans. The British participation in the trad…

Why are you trying to justify British African slavery? I think you explained it perfectly. There's a reason that Marxism/Communism will never work in practice and it's because it will always break down when the system realizes that people will always want to work harder to have more. It's in our nature to want more, and the regulation of social labor in a commodity economy would cause eventual total economic collapse. http://www.mtholyoke.edu/~fmoseley/lrcgpric.html
/r/PussyPassDenied04/05/17 12:47 PM
2

Are you beginning to see why Marxism simply cannot work in the long run yet? Or should we keep playing this game and create more rules until it looks like crony capitalism, while calling it something else? You said earlier I get information from memes. I actually took several in-depth courses in economic philosophy while I worked towards my two degrees (investment finance and behavioral economics). I hold the opinions I do because of the in-depth analysis I've given these different schools of th…

If there isn't you would use labour notes. I don't understand. "If there isn't" what? Why would we even have to ration in a utopian society, shouldn't there be enough (and ideally more) for everyone? If you work more you get more notes. lol. This is starting to sound more and more like Capitalism, just exchange 'labor notes' with 'dollars'...
/r/PussyPassDenied03/05/17 07:52 PM
2

The monetary 'need' is anything all citizens require that should be provided to them since the means of production have been returned to the people. Any type of goods, the fact I want to go back to school for free to change the labor I provide to society, etc. because they want to, That's wishful thinking, but ok, I'll concede for the sake of the argument. a lot of food production can be automated But distribution cannot. So now all of your distribution networks (truck drivers, barges, train eng…
/r/PussyPassDenied03/05/17 07:39 PM
2

So if you don't provide labor you don't receive your rationing? Why is rationing even necessary to begin with? Shouldn't there be plenty for everyone? But what if I wanted to go back to school (which is now free and you and everyone else are paying for) and I'm not providing labor while I am enrolled? What if I provided more labor, should I receive more labor notes and thus receive higher rationing?
/r/PussyPassDenied03/05/17 07:34 PM
2

Fight back? And do what, 'take back the means of production' again? From who? There are no more means of production because your utopian society has broken down from your (and everyone else's) monetary 'need' being higher than the output of your (and everyone else's) economic output. There are no more crops because all the farmers decided they wanted to work in a factory/mill/etc instead. There's no one to fight back because the production is already owned by the people.
/r/PussyPassDenied03/05/17 07:32 PM
2

I'd think most people would be reasonable And that's where Marxism breaks down. When people become so used to the norm that they are no longer a contributing member of the production, while still expecting their fair share of that production. But it's OK! Because we can just rely on someone else to assist, right?
/r/PussyPassDenied03/05/17 07:24 PM
2

Your solution is to basically rely on others. What happens when those others can't meet the need for the same reason? I put this comment here bc ur quick to reply and i wanted to make sure you saw it
/r/PussyPassDenied03/05/17 07:17 PM
2

I'm not referring to starvation (although that is certainly a distinct possibility if you can't convince farmers to grow crops because they all wanted to be something else), I'm referring to the economic collapse due to a labor shortfall due to the 'need' of switching your personal means of production. At that point you will have to restrict their 'need' so it fits the economy and the entire idea collapses.
/r/PussyPassDenied03/05/17 07:16 PM
2

And what if that monetary 'need' is higher than the economic output of the country?

SLPs are marxists. I thought they were interchangeable. Fact remains they are not advocating for the dismantlement of human commodity, which separates them from actual marxism Abolishing the division of labor means you have no wealth and the 'government' pays for your education. It was written in 1919... Moving away from "religion" is moving away from traditional values like the nuclear family, honor, integrity, charity, modesty, work ethic, and other types of family values. Something we have seen over the last 50 years. I have you marked as a troll.

I would argue that things like this is when the group becomes something people can't control. You're right, though - it's nearly impossible to prove a negative. That's what makes sweeping bans morally wrong. However, when there is clearly a motive that some groups have to dismantle what our US ancestors (of all colors, shapes, and socioeconomic statuses) have built, what options do we have to protect the citizens of our own country? At some point, it needs to be recognized that the rights of cit…

What word or phrase would you suggest be used? I don't disagree with you, but the KKK has a worldwide membership of ~5,000 people and Neo-Nazis in the US are even fewer (the Aryan Nations, which is probably one of America’s most famed Neo-Nazi groups, had around 200 members at its zenith). The prominence of those groups are at all time lows and are really only discussed during election years when their leaders come out to support (usually a Republican) Presidential candidate. I'd suggest it'd be…

Of course not. We as citizens all have an equal voice. I wouldn't argue for securing our borders based on skin color. But I would argue that sort of stops if, statistically, any certain group is more likely to commit crimes, terrorize groups of citizens, etc. It's not that those groups of people 'shouldn't be allowed in', I believe that non-citizens don't have a 'right' to our country the way that citizens do and a second look might sometimes be required. It's a sad reality, but truths aren't al…

I think it does answer the question. being proud of who you are, no matter what you are. I'd also add proud of your heritage, culture, religion, morals, norms, values, etc. Whatever you would want to include is fine, as long as you're not oppressing others with your ideological beliefs. You didn't answer the question, what does it mean to be pro-asian, pro-black, or pro-LGBT? Edit: St. Patrick's Day is an example of being 'pro-white' and, for the Irish, celebrating your 'white heritage' in a pea…

I'm not arguing they are the same. You're doing the same thing as what I mentioned above. 'White Pride' is being labeled as inherently racist, bigoted, and xenophobic in our country. You've lumped all the people who want to have pride in themselves and their heritage into the very small, vocal minority of neo-nazis. Are you suggesting that because whites didn't need a civil liberties movement or a women's suffrage movement (both of which exist the way we know it today because white [Republican] …

I guess by the media's definition, he is a 'white nationalist'. Unfortunately, that's another term that's being co-opted to mean something entirely different. It's sort of how you can't be 'pro-white' without being part of a 'white nationalist' movement, but you can totally be part of any other '___ power' group. Here's an example

This article states the incident took place off campus: Yovino told them she attended a Sacred Heart football club party the night before at a house on Lakeside Drive in Bridgeport. I also think that married people should live in the same town. But this wasn't your usual marriage. She lived a lavish live style in Paris probably on his dollar until he died. He lived in a hit with no electricity or running water. I think their arrangement ends when he died, especially since her friend killed him.

There should be an investigation to make sure that a) They haven't done this to someone else in the past who might have "crossed" them and b) They are no longer permitted to take this type of transportation since it's apparent they're unable to follow directions.

Imagine running the hose under the car, then pulling up. The hose will not have 100% flow through it as it's pressed against both sides and the bottom of the car. These types of hoses kinks if you sneeze at them, so it's important they aren't blocked in any way to maintain safety for the firemen who need it.
