OP, this is THE answer. I've been there - held a deeply passionate love for someone who couldn't care less. When we parted ways, I told him to message me if he can see himself loving me. He's attempted to send a few nice messages with no solid intention and has been met with a very rude, snarky, unpleasant me, which I stand by. I'm currently with someone that I deeply love in a different way. The peace I feel right now is MUCH better than the chaos I felt before. For your sanity, don't settle fo…

I'm sure there are plenty of happiness models out there that follow the same basic steps, but yeah, that's a pretty good summary of the process! This isn't relevant to the original post either, but being a Sim gives me a lot of perspective that bolsters the carefree attitude I try to have. Other people are just props, and while I want to help improve the world and the system (as one does when completing quests in World Adventures or fixing the monster situation in Strangerville), the only think …

When I feel like I'm at a particularly low point in my life, I think of myself as a Sim. I personally love building Sims that are rich with skills and experiences who are just trying to do good in the world. I think of myself as one of these Sims starting off at rock bottom and try to plan out what I'd have them do. Do I want them to work out? Do I want them to excel in their careers? What hobby do I want them to build? I even refer to lists of skills in the Sims online with detailed instruction…

I have the same thing and I know exactly how it feels! I've dated some high value men who were incredibly intelligent and organized with their thoughts and words. I admired them for this, but I felt like they constantly pointed out how ineffective my communication was and kept trying to "fix" me. I know there is some frustration that comes with a partner who has trouble "leaving" their thoughts and engaging with the world, so to speak, but that doesn't make me (or you) any less lovable or respec…

I've been in Cynthia's shoes and I broke it off with the dude because my trust in him was forever broken. You can be upset about getting burned after touching a pretty fire but it should've also been expected. I think a huge part of the Red Pill is maintaining frame, and a part of that means keeping your values straight when you're in a relationship (imo). I know there's a whole debate about morality and how it doesn't play into TRP, but I don't buy it. Plato wrote a whole book about Socrates's …

I'm not upset. Just opening up a discussion. Again, change is great! Change is wonderful! Change has nothing to do with the self. I'm challenging your notion that being yourself is being the worst version of a human being, as if people inherently are slovenly, disgusting beings that have no goals or passions and make the worst decisions. Everyone is still different and the phrase "be yourself" should mean just that. Be your unique self, follow your unique goals, do what feels intrinsically right…

And you don't think self-fulfillment has anything to do with it? The goal of life is JUST to attract a mate? And once you do, your goal in life is to keep them? Would you really want to be with someone whose only goal is you? Sounds depressing and boring. What if you don't want a prince? The point of RP is to attract and vet a partner that suits YOUR needs and wants in a stable, secure way. Some women like princes, others find them prissy and annoying. I'm not saying we should never strive for i…

Or we'd be confident that once we found someone, they love us for who we are. The goal is not to be flawless beautiful beings that are liked by everyone. We have one life. It's good to practice discipline for oneself, it's good to have aspirations, but one should never do it SOLELY for someone else. The ultimate goal is to find a lasting purpose and happiness that has a net positive effect on the world AND ourselves. Would dressing nice attract people who dress nice or love certain aesthetics? S…

First of all, recognize that these men are being bitter assholes. They resent you for not letting them dip their dicks in the honeypot, but even moreso, they resent themselves for being awful to you back when they had nothing to gain. This has nothing to do with you. You are living your life, trying your best, and doing a great job at building yourself up and establishing who you want to be and who you want to be WITH. This will hurt and suck in the short term, but my advice is keep forging your…

This isn't a man/woman quality, it is a person quality and it depends on the situation. Some people are more willing to work through something and how much it's worth working through really depends on their perception.

The relationship dynamic you had and the way you view love seem very unhealthy to me. I'm going to approach this from a less gendered point of view. The perfect love has three aspects to it: infatuation, liking the person as a person, and developing a bond over time. Everyone is capable of experiencing all three of these, but what causes infatuation or likeable traits differs from person to person. Once there is love, how people express it and want it to be expressed ALSO differs from person to …

I loved this story so much, I'm bookmarking it as a reminder of what mindset I want to bring to my future relationship and what attitude I'd like from my future partner. I'm delighted things have worked out for you and I hope you two continue to be happy! Best wishes, OP.

OP, be kind to yourself. It's an awful feeling having someone take away a part of you that you value so highly, and I recommend you talk to a professional about how this is impacting your relationship. You've been hurt, so it would be prudent to find a place to heal. A path to acceptance and self-love. I don't believe virginity should define a woman's worth. What a woman invests in and how she goes about building herself as a person is what defines her. That's why being exceptionally promiscuous…

Fair points! You are giving advice on the path you believe is most right. It would benefit me more to treat every post like a new opinion instead of taking it at face value as the perceived objective truth. Thank you. You're right, many marriages end up unhappy. The happy ones depend on both people. I still believe that if you focus on values and build a relationship based on resilience, you decrease the chances of things going badly, but I guess you can never eliminate those chances completely.

A. Again, maintaining sexual relationships with many women is not a lifestyle all men want. This whole post talks about the male fantasy of finding a perfect wife and settling down. Giving a solution to men who still want that despite knowing the risks would be better. Instead of disregarding that desire, you'd be offering a path to it. The Red Pill is about uncovering the truth of dynamics between men and women, but what is done after should be decided by the person. B. The Red Pill has no goal…

The problem with modern partnerships is a lot deeper than "men are romantics and women are opportunists." The problem seems more like "people nowadays are so entranced by meaningless distractions they lack direction, both in themselves and their lives, leading them to become stale." They all desire some fairy-tale but do absolutely nothing to make it happen. So yeah, there's an issue with women letting themselves go and allowing child-rearing to take over their lives so they become nothing but c…
