had this argument with a feminst about genital mutila- uh I mean circumcisionI’m just disgusted anti-feminists wrote this law to begin with back in 1929. How are a group of guys going to sit around and write a law saying “we can’t get raped, we can only rape”. And obviously it was anti-feminists who wrote that law because it’s not like women were in power back in 1929. And if women were in power you know those guys would be anti-feminists (historical context). I’m not saying feminists fixed the law in 2012, but I wouldn’t be surprised to learn just that. | /r/AntiFeminists | 11/05/22 01:25 PM
had this argument with a feminst about genital mutila- uh I mean circumcisionYou haven’t linked any article. Was this prior to 2012? | /r/AntiFeminists | 09/05/22 04:57 PM
had this argument with a feminst about genital mutila- uh I mean circumcisionWhy are you talking about vandalism? We were discussing rape. | /r/AntiFeminists | 09/05/22 04:41 PM
had this argument with a feminst about genital mutila- uh I mean circumcisionProbably outdated then. This might have been a concern pre-2012 when the gendered language was removed. Good news though! This is a major win for men! | /r/AntiFeminists | 09/05/22 03:53 PM
had this argument with a feminst about genital mutila- uh I mean circumcisionAccording to the definition, if a woman blackmails a man into intercourse, that’s sexual assault, not rape. Since the words “woman” and “man” aren’t in the legal definition, you’re just making this up. Also this is blackmail, not rape. And the only other time I’ve seen a case where the woman was charged, it was for using a knife to threaten the man and she was charged with damaging his car. Good news that you aren’t omnipotent - things which you cannot see are still things which happen. Also, yo… | /r/AntiFeminists | 09/05/22 03:46 PM
had this argument with a feminst about genital mutila- uh I mean circumcisionAnd male on female is excluded from the definition as well. All gendered language has been removed. https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/10/920 So, no need for concern. | /r/AntiFeminists | 09/05/22 04:36 AM
had this argument with a feminst about genital mutila- uh I mean circumcisionThe good news is, what is written into the law is basically a test: Did something or someone enter you (with some object or with an appendage or organ, in any orface). Did not consent to this act? Or, were you under the influence of substances which means you cannot give your consent? If both are yes, it's rape. (I am glossing over some additional cases but with genders removed, the most literal interpretation of the law would protect men). This is great news.. and disturbing that it was only fi… | /r/AntiFeminists | 08/05/22 11:28 PM
had this argument with a feminst about genital mutila- uh I mean circumcisionI see absolutely zero reference to the outdated language in current law: https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/10/920 | /r/AntiFeminists | 08/05/22 04:40 PM

had this argument with a feminst about genital mutila- uh I mean circumcisionThe new definition is: “The penetration, no matter how slight, of the vagina or anus with any body part or object, or oral penetration by a sex organ of another person, without the consent of the victim.” For the first time ever, the new definition includes any gender of victim and perpetrator, not just women being raped by men. It also recognizes that rape with an object can be as traumatic as penile/vaginal rape. (From the link I gave you) Looks like it isn't. Edit: The antiquated common law d… | /r/AntiFeminists | 08/05/22 04:34 PM
had this argument with a feminst about genital mutila- uh I mean circumcisionDo you have a source for that claim? I am not seeing anything regarding that about Duluth. You seem to be suggesting that men cannot be victims of rape, which isn't law. Edit: it appears the current definition doesn't not use gender or sex. https://www.justice.gov/archives/opa/blog/updated-definition-rape#:~:text=The%20new%20definition%20is%3A,the%20consent%20of%20the%20victim.%E2%80%9D | /r/AntiFeminists | 08/05/22 04:31 PM
had this argument with a feminst about genital mutila- uh I mean circumcisionI can give you some re-assuring news then. Absolutely no women are getting abortions for their convenience. Every abortion weighs on a person's conscious. Every miscarriage weighs on a person's conscious. It's super invasive. The pill is brutal, the proceedure scrapes the inside of their womb.. condoms, birth control are all methods women use out of convenience. Abortions are anything but. | 1 | had this argument with a feminst about genital mutila- uh I mean circumcisionYou know, that's a really good answer. Seriously. It passes the "no true scotsman" fallacy "test", it's probably one of the best faith answers I have seen on reddit lately. Seriously. I kid around a lot but I want to give credit where credit is due, and that is legit good faith. I also think your answer works with the question you asked me (changing misogyny to misandry and antifeminism to feminism). I might even be able to explain why people behave this way (men and women, respectively): in a l… | /r/AntiFeminists | 07/05/22 06:55 PM

had this argument with a feminst about genital mutila- uh I mean circumcisionAre you asking me to speak on behalf of all feminists? There are bad takes within every group. You do realize the point of logical fallacies isn't to walk your opponent into them, right? I know what you're trying to get me to sayn but because I try not to speak in falsehoods and fallacies, the best I can tell you is that the majority of feminists, feminist theory, literature, blog posts, placards, etc... are intersectional and NOT misandrist. | 1 | had this argument with a feminst about genital mutila- uh I mean circumcisionHave you heard of the no true scotsman fallacy? Jesus. What I said is that feminists don't support genital mutilation. I said right now feminists are concerned about legislation to remove their right to life. Have you heard of the bill of rights? Life is one of those rights that mothers have. Edit: here is my best attempt at answering your question.. | 1 | had this argument with a feminst about genital mutila- uh I mean circumcisionThat post isn't a good representation of what feminists believe. Are you sure you want to try to win an argument against what is essentially a strawman? Feminists do not support genital mutilation. Right now, women are maybe being forced to give birth or simply die if they can't get a life saving abortion. Do you expect every feminist to always be concerned about ONLY mens issues when a huge right of theirs is being taken away? Of course I can't listen if you don't speak. Speak! | /r/AntiFeminists | 06/05/22 02:49 PM
had this argument with a feminst about genital mutila- uh I mean circumcisionOh ok sure. I am willing to listen. I will point out lies though. And there was no attacking of your character, just your honor (as you have yet to prove yourself trustworthy, having made up stats about forced birth in the other thread). But sure.. feminists fight for mens rights more than the majority of MRAs (with exception to one: the "father" of the MRA movement who is largely a gender abolitionist and says the MRA movement has been co-opted by the far right). | 1 | had this argument with a feminst about genital mutila- uh I mean circumcisionAlso I want to be clear. I am a feminist who along with other feminists fight against genital mutation for men and women. I am also a guy who is circumcised. Are you sure you are anti-me? Anti-anti-genital mutilation? Pro genital mutilation? Feminists do not support genital mutilation never have, never will. | /r/AntiFeminists | 06/05/22 02:33 PM
had this argument with a feminst about genital mutila- uh I mean circumcisionInteresting how you can't back up your claims in the other thread. I am still waiting to hear you tell one truth. | /r/AntiFeminists | 06/05/22 02:26 PM

For what its worth I cisgender hetero man in his late 30s, and I have chosen to be a feminist my entire life. I assume you mean “look at the example of women going to sperm donors”. I’m glad you brought this up. When a woman goes to a “sperm donor” they don’t go to some guy’s house, they go to a fertility clinic. In this example, men would masturbate in rooms into a vial. That vial would be kept frozen until a woman would like to be impregnated with it. At which point, a doctor will perform a medical procedure to insert the sperm into the woman.
