There's no one answer, but it is most likely a combination of biological, social and economic reasons. The "warrior gene theory" gained quite a bit of traction in recent decades to explain why some males account for the overwhelming majority of violence. However, I believe it has fallen out of favour in recent years. I used to touch on this area in my classroom as part of the explanations of crime, but I no longer teach that topic, so I'm a bit rusty on the details and trends.

Hypothetically, if there was sufficient data (genetic most prominently, for example) provided, a child born of a father who had "legally aborted" them could access the sort of information you refer to without ever accessing the identity of their biological father. It's abundantly clear what the intent of restricting abortion to 6 weeks is; an effective ban on abortion in general. What exactly is the point of this article? It's as if Moore is having a conversation with herself in an attempt to justify her misandry to herself. There's no overarching point to it; no attempt to be persuasive or present some argument for a course of action. Strange that TNS would publish this, they are usually pretty good.

I've been on something of a journey with the "woke brigade" over the years. I started out thinking they were a mostly right-thinking group of people who were maybe a little over-inundated with ideological purism. I now think they are fundamentally a toxic force in society, with very little to offer with regards to positive change or even salient insight.

I had a pretty fucked sleeping pattern until recently; I'd go from sleeping 8 pm-4 am some days to 7 am-3 pm on others. The following helped me get consistently 11.30 pm-7 am is: Cut alcohol down to one night per week. Have dinner no later than 4 hours before bed. Thank you. It was a real slog, but it has paid off in the end. I teach social science and was fearful that this would mean many of my colleagues were pretty far along the RadFem spectrum. There are a few like that, but I was surprised how balanced most people are on gender issues, even in a female-dominated space.

I have a BA in Politics and Law and an MSc in Public Policy. I also have a postgrad diploma in teaching. I completed feminist modules as part of both my legal and political studies, which I'd attribute with sparking my interest in male advocacy.

In general, I would imagine violent crime is lower in the UK than in the USA, given the lack of access to firearms. "Violence against the person" and "violent crime" are largely synonymous. I'm not overly certain about England, but in Scotland, the only exception is that sexual crimes are generally treated as a distinct offence category.

I think the CSEW comment about 1/3 of violent crime recorded by police being domestic assault is very telling. When you consider that women are more likely to be victims of domestic assault and are more likely to report victimisation, combined with male under-reporting (for all types of violent crime, not just DV), it's easy to see how this inflated figure emerged.

Regarding #4, I think a possible solution is to have an intermediary agency handle child support payments. The parent paying the support would pay this agency each month, providing support to the recipient parent. Rather than receiving plain cash, the support would come in the form of tokens for food, clothes and other childcare essentials. I'm not sure about the idea of forced abortions, given the complications abortion procedures can cause and the rights violations such a policy entails. I would instead institute a form of 'legal abortion' for males, where they can waive any obligation toward an unwanted child, regardless of whether the mother goes through with a pregnancy or not.

This is a tougher one. I think the jury is still out on whether single-sex schools are truly better for educational attainment; I've seen conflicting studies. I think schools are about socialisation as much as they are academic and skills education, and I fear this would be undermined by splitting all boys and girls into gender-specific schools.

"Victim blaming" is often used to disparage any nod to personal responsibility in my experience. That isn't to say there aren't genuine cases of victim-blaming out there, but it's too often used as a trump card by many people IMO. I totally agree about your point on challenging subconscious biases. Society rightly condemns biases men might have towards women, but it seems there are free passes aplenty in the opposing case.
