My counter to the generalization is that I often think that guy the token gay guy of the group or is someone's baby brother

You have to touch them naturally. Maybe on the elbow or waist when you're walking to guide them. Maybe read their palm. The key is to do it early and naturally. Escalating with words is maybe less easy. You don't want to unnaturally steer the conversation from them. So you start with your story and then tangent off, "do you agree?" "Have you experienced anything like that?" "How would you feel if someone choked you with two hands?"

I find that having hobbies and a point of view that make you interesting seem like a good way to spark conversation. A lot of my Asian friends having boring hobbies and just go to school. I'm also tall so that changes things.

Thank you, as an economics major I always feel that risk calculations always suggest approaching a girl. the percentage outcome is probably not evenly split but it would be something like: (loose assumptions, not statistically supported) A) 5% The two of you really hit it off and you close B) 20% You only get her number and a possible second date C) 50% you have a nice conversation with a woman you find attractive (but no # close or second date plan) D) 25% doesn't go well and you get rejected B…

Let's just count that as your first approach ever and you're going to build from there. Good job on reflecting upon it. Now repeat. Like the ooda loop, observe your situation, orient based on your knowledge and past experience, decide what to do, and act on it. Repeat as necessary.

It's a good book and refreshing to read his style of writing again. It gets pretty raunchy but there are a lot of moments of clarity and relationship advice that i'll keep with me forever. I'm making my fiancee read it

Have you read niel Strauss's book "the truth"? I'm gearing up for a long committed relationship now and it's great to see how he went from "the game" to "the truth"

Best: Spent a free lazy day in NYC in a nice hotel. Bored out of my mind so I decided to check out a play for the hell of it. Luckily a single cute female sits down next to me. The play was alright but I ask her if she doing anything after. We walked from Columbus circle down to Canal to get Chinese food and then back to my hotel on Columbus circle. All the while sharing some intellectual conversation and solid flirting. We hung out on the balcony bar of the hotel and then down in the hotel rest…
