Girls like attention a lot. I'm convinced they like it more than sex actually. So when you want nothing to do with them they still value your attention and are upset when they no longer have a source for that attention. You're making the right move, I personally don't see the point in being friends with a girl unless it's like your cousin or something. If she's not sexually interested in me then I'm not going to stay around her.

Sounds like she lost interest. I would pull back completely and move on. If she hits you up during that time, play it cool and don't act too desperate. But I would definitely start talking, pursuing other girls.

Yea good chance this is happening, but idk why don't you just mute my stories? I know I'm overthinking so I'll just move on.

Ball in her court given your response.

It matters but as others have said it's definitely not the golden ticket a lot of guys think it is. A lot of women now have really good careers and don't NEED your money per se BUT they are attracted to the ambition and confidence that often (yes often, as a lot of guys who make a lot of money can't pull for shit) comes with a guy that makes a lot of money. Generally speaking women like to be "led" even though they may not admit it and they would like to date someone who does "more" than they do…

Seeing as you double texted her and she still hasn't responded I would just move on bro. If it was a double text I'd say you have nothing to lose but triple just shows she's not interested. At the end of the day I've been in your shoes before though, and emotionally get where you're coming from but you're just wasting your time. If you do do it send something like "Hey I'm checking out this (insert cool place, coffee shop, bakery, ice cream parlor bar etc.) on this day at this time, if you're fr…

Tbh if you said that to me I probably would take it as a joke and keep the banter going but that's me. Personally I have found in dating that while some strategies CAN work they also run the risk of not working. Which is why in the first few dates I err on the side of low risk talking points/jokes etc. So although this joke may not upset some people it will upset others. Moving forward I suggest taking low risk banter

Usually Fridays and Saturdays. But sometimes Thursdays and Sundays, especially Sundays during the summer.

Are you getting a lot of matches but no dates? Or not a lot of matches at all.

Btw I usually get ice cream, drinks or coffee near a park so that I can go to the park afterwards to escalate then ask to go back to theirs.

Best for me is usually bar/ice cream/coffee then go right back to mine or hers or walk in the park then to back to mine or hers.

I didn't next her though... Unless bring overt counts as nexting.

She flaked on hanging out after I had made a reservation but then called me later that night for a booty call. She knew what she was doing that's why she called asking me if I was still mad at her.

Clarification: is being overt "bad" or just not necessary? Like can being overt kill your reputation/frame/etc. or is it just something you should try and avoid.

So we don't have a dead set TIME in place, we're just supposed to meet later this evening. I told her we should meet at like 630/7 but it was kinda vague and not in place. I should still wait for her to text first?

Yea bro she'll definitely text me if I go no contact unfortunately. This was really supposed to be the last straw but when you talk to these girls it's hard to separate emotion from logic sometimes. We're done.

Just recounted, FIFTH flake lol. She confirmed the date and everything. I already said I'd hang with her Sunday so I'm guessing I should just flake/ or not follow up?

Had a date set for tonight, plate flaked again but said she'd free up her Sunday for me. This is the 4th time she's flaked in the last two months... Hard next or hang with her Sunday?

So the original Friday plan is officially not happening anymore so I am actually pretty free Friday. Should I still just reschedule for next week?

Lol how'd you know I have abs

So I'm not the one cancelling the plans on Friday, I just feel like from past experience my friends will more likely than not flake. I also feel like first saying "I'm busy" then saying "I'm free" will come across as needy. Again I'm not canceling plans, my boys are just more likely than not gonna flake on going out so I might as well hang with her. Or should I just suggest another day?

Get big in the gym and (if you can) grow a beard. Learn how to dress well and work hard on your studies and/or career. Going bald isn't the end of the world and some girls actually really like it.

"Alright cool, no worries" EDIT: I would respond as she MAY just be playing a game. I've had girls do something of this sort in the past and they end up getting back to me. But I would still respond with what I posted above.

I get where you're coming from BUT she already reached out. She was yearning for my attention/ignoring her way more than she normally did and I just played it cool. She's definitely confused now, I've already achieved that, now I'm just asking what to do next. I'm asking whether I should keep withholding my attention or if I should just ask her to hangout this upcoming weekend seeing as I still want to see her although I plan on definitely gaming and shifting my attention to other chicks.

Yea but I'm working on adding more. Lost a plate as she moved out of state and have been on a month long detox since April.

So should I keep ignoring her or hit her up lol

So she messaged me pretty heavy today after a 1.5 week period of no contact. She sent me pictures and was overall Upping her attention to a high degree. How should I proceed?

Perfect, well she just texted me interestingly enough.

Wait I thought no contact should be for about 2 weeks though? Yea I get anything apart from a yes is a no.

How long should I potentially wait for her to hit me up before I decide on inviting her out for the last time?

I see, so the day after she last flaked (about a week ago) she replied to one of my instagram stories with some friendly banter. I haven't texted her in a week (I'm the initiator of plans 90% of the time in this situationship) but I did like one of her IG pictures yesterday (her brother got married). Should I just give her another week to reach out and if she doesn't then I should ghost?

Alright thanks guys, this is literally the advice I needed to hear.

My motive for liking it is courtesy. I thought that because it was a special moment, I should like it out of courtesy. I know I'm overthinking it but i just wanted to gain some extra advice.

I get you, but basically my question is, in a period of no contact should I like her pic or not or does it not really matter what I do whatsoever.
/r/askTRP02/05/21 11:37 PM

I'm not going to go into details but she definitely was interested. It's only in the past 2-3 weeks she's been flaking and/or not been as interested in going on dates as much so that's why I'm asking this question.
