i am also not comfortable with my analogy, rape is in no way women's fault - what they wear or anything else for that matter. I was just exploring the analogy. There are rapists out there and they should be (and are mostly condemned), young men need to be educated about nuances of consent. i dont think the flat screen TV analogy works particularly well. As unrealistic as it is to happen: Would you drive your +$100k car into a busy public area, get out wearing expensive clothes and proceed to walk around carrying and counting a stack of hundred dollar bills. Sure you might get a fair bit of positive attention ("people being interested , curiousity, wanting to get your attention"). But someone might just pull out a knife / gun and take it from you.
