Women generally have a lot more perceived options and abundance than the overwhelming majority of men which I believe contributes to this behavior. Yea she was drinking but she had also expressed interest in me (according to a couple friends) the 1st time we met a few weeks before the party. 2	Is it bad to buy a girl a drink at a club Depends on why and when you're buying her a drink. I usually (sometimes break this rule and hate myself for it) buy girls drinks when I've had good conversation (10+ mins) with them and received IOIs. I buy it not to 'ensure' I get laid but to show them that I'm into them and not playing around. If you go up to any girl and ask her if you can buy her a drink that is indeed beta and mostly unattractive. Additionally she will probably take the drink and leave which equals wasted money.
