Tbh, only time people listen to men's issues is when women speak up for it.

It maybe just me, but I don't think 15,16 year olds should be given criminal record, they should be forced to attend councelling, detention, and given proper guidance. Because kids that age think they have matured, but really they are a big mess. They shouldn't get criminal records...

Patriarchy basically means where the head of a family, community, or society is male. Most of the desicions-making, work is done by men. Men hold the positions of power. It worked for most of the time throughout history, but it's obsolete now. In my country,India, and many developing or conservative countries, it's still dominant and can be easily seen. In my opinion, it takes some freedom away from females, and objectifies and dehumanises men. Feminists are not wrong in saying that patriarchy i…

Just talk to her, it isn't a war where you have to analyse everything and make a move accordingly, I guess

What I have learned is, Reddit or that subreddit that is against 'hate subreddits' won't do anything about it , just ignore it as it probably won't affect you in real life. if you wanna look on the bright side, feminist subreddits don't support it, so at least they are on everyone's red list.

Yeah I've heard it so many times, females call those females who support men's rights pick-me kind of girls. Really pisses me off. It sucks because the only way people hear about us is when a feminist women says it. It's like a vicious cycle.

I am Indian and you know how women were and are treated. Yeah it's become a lot better since older times. Think where we would be if not for Raja Ram Mohan Rai and his wife and many others who fought for the rights of women, they would be called feminists. It's good to fights for men's rights, but it's not right to dismiss women's issues too. I don't like the form feminism has taken either, but somewhere they're right too.

No, feminism didn't evolve just like that, there are many places outside Europe and America in the world, and Feminism is needed there, we should keep in mind that our movement doesn't become harmful for others.

Because this sub is good, but once I was discussing something on a feminist sub and they did raise a good point. I try to be open minded as much as possible so I researched a bit more and there are many misogynist organisation saying that they're men's rights activists. Those are the loud minority which give us a bad name. They told me names of a few such leaders I'll tell you if you want.

No bud, let's not forget how many actual loud misogynists are out there who want are actually against equality for women and they call themselves men's rights activists. Those are the people because of whom people have turned against men's rights. That's also the problem with Feminism.

I differ in this matter though, I don't think it was anyone's fault, it was just unfortunate that it had to turn out like this. Maybe if the in-laws were getting involved in this matter, she should have told them everything. If anyone is getting involved in family, transparency is very important

I don't see it harming us in any way, it's peaceful for the most part, and addresses the issues of men and men who identify as non binary.

I can't stress this enough, just understand what's being taught and just live your life, play all you want, watch series, movies, do what interests you. No need to stress about it in 9th. By the time you reach 11th it won't matter what you did before.

What's their problem with redpill/incel subreddits. It sounds like they are hating on one group in particular.

When people speak truth like in videos of Steven Crowder, they call it hate speech , then they get violent, give them death threats, and then go forward to calling men scrotes and incels and all. Double standards? Hypocrites?

Here in India, society already thinks men are guilty until proven innocent. It's mainly because rape cases and female abuse cases are really really high. And so to protect women laws have been formed which are very unfair and harsh towards men.
