Headshots won’t help anyway. It will make it seem like you have no hobbies or interests. Most people, male and female, don’t actually read the “about me” portion of OLD profiles. Ergo you have to visually show that you’re interesting.

The statistics don’t lie. Just read any article and you can see that both men and women using online dating are not as satisfied as you might think they would be. Hence why I’ve gone back to trying to meet women IRL, instead of through OLD apps. So far, I haven’t landed a new girlfriend yet, but I’ve actually met some women (and clicked with them at least temporarily) IRL, while as for Tinder I don’t get matches at all. OLD brings out the worst in people.

Having photos taken by a professional looks lazy. This is Tinder we’re talking about, not a theatre audition. You should have photos of yourself doing interesting things. I have those, unfortunately my friends and family have the habit of taking photos of me that aren’t that flattering. But professional headshots will make me seem like I don’t have hobbies or interests. It won’t entice excitement out of women on online dating.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
