I dont think lifting is a "cure" per say but i 100% agree that lifting (and the change in diet that usually comes with it) does make us much happier, as well as the positive life changes we see after adapting to the new lifestyle. I read somewhere on reddit that people naturally default to depression when they run out of challenges (aka if you do the same dead end job day in and day out that you dont really like), and i think lifting helps provide a challenge Tl;dr I dont disagree, i just think …

My friend went vegetarian a while back and we're still boys, in fact we are probably closer now than before because this is when he got big into lifting. If they are actually your friends they will respect your decision and if they dont, assess whether or not their acquaintanceship offers value to you and cut them out if not.

Spending loads of time at university (and specifically the university gym) i constantly see dudes that are in amazing physical shape and i say wow i am a fat sack of shit. Quick theory of mine but i think bulking makes cutting easier since you add muscle mass and muscles need fuel, you will burn more calories after a bulk than before. After that just eat right and youre good
