What does any of that have to do with metoo

How have men lost the right to defend themselves in the court of law? Have any "#MeToo" cases even gone to court? Do you even know what you're talking about? How many rape cases do you think are found guilty?

How is it harmful to men

Yeah but the difference is that "mentoo" is attempting to co-opt a movement protecting ALL survivors of sexual violence, similar to how alllivesmatter co-opts black lives matter to discount victims of racial violence.

You... You realize "metoo" wasn't gendered, right? Neither of those words are gendered. As a man myself I had a #metoo post and it was treated well... Except by men. Men mocked me. Men harassed me and told me I wasnt a man because I got harassed. Feminists supported me.

I'm not saying that gay people are perfect, I'm saying that this post itself is representative of a specific attitude that manifests in heterosexist relationships where straight people seem to constantly joke about hating their partner/the other sex. I'm not saying that doesn't ever happen with gay people either, but that the fact that this attitude is joked about/celebrated on reddit is relevant considering that doesn't happen with gay people on reddit.

You: gay people never say mean things about other people? Me: prove it by showing me that this doesn't only happen with the straights How is that moving the goalposts?

Wow... It's almost like some people might think this is wrong... Can you seriously not conceive of any reason someone might believe that other than wanting to get laid? That's kinda fuckin pathetic bro

Their choices are influenced by media and sexism they experience in the world.

If that's true, how come women are constantly pressured not to go into high paying fields, or are sexually assaulted, or are much less likely to become political figures? How come we haven't had a single women president (not Hillary tho she was awful)?

I think you don't realize how few "men are pigs round them up" people actually exist. Practically none. Mostly the ones you see online are false flagging.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
