This would be my criticism of third wave feminism, not feminism in general. Up until the last few years, it's brought a lot of good. It can still be good for women and men but feminists need to own up to their mistakes. Some feminists are misandrists but I don't think all of them are. After all the whole point of feminism is equality; none of it should be about women being better than men.

Banning those sexual entertainment places will definitely backfire. I don't know if sex work generally should be fully legalised but there should definitely be more to help those who need it. Saying that though, not everyone has awful experiences in sex work. After all: what you do with your own body is your choice.

The personal and financial independence is a fair argument to make to live on your own. I don't know the actual stats about people who live with their parents past a certain age but I imagine things like the cost of living crisis, house prices going way up and ill health or certain conditions will be a huge factor to stay with your parents for a little longer. None of that means a man should be labelled as a leech or parasite.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
