Also recommend Robert Greene's Mastery. When it comes to mastering any skill, we must do the grueling mechanical practice before we can start breaking and remaking rules on our own terms. Other comments echo this with respect to PUA, but Greene shows how can be applied to any skill (and, by extension on our end, to PUA). There is little that is surprising in the book, but a lot that we need to hear explicitly because we rarely think about it in such an organized and clear way.

Her advice is to literally force ourselves out of bed every morning -- no snooze, no rolling over, no waiting in bed …

Just watched this the other day. Simple message, but we need to hear it. FORCE yourself out of the comfort. Did anyone do the "fly out of bed" routine yet? Going to try it tomorrow.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
