Aim for the former, expect the latter

Finish your degree and get a job should be your first priority. If you have excess energy you can game a few girls. Focus on your career and become independent ASAP.

That's the beauty in it, similar to lifting weights, you will only be uncomfortable in the beginning. Once you build the habit of creating content and value, you will learn to love it.

If you want to increase your mental capacity, you want to try to put yourself in uncomfortable positions. This is the equivalent to new PR in lifting. Examples could be creating new music, website, writing, applications, etc.

Yes but only if you excel at it: i.e. plastic surgeon. Also if you won't incur huge debt, your family pays for you. It would take you like 10+ years to pay off a debt of $400k from undergrad + medical school.

Congrats OP, at least you know what you got to do, which is more than most men in the first world.

How much can you afford to pay in rent? If you can afford $1500-2000 a month, then split with someone and get a 1 bedroom flex in Manhattan. Preferably around midtown west or union square or herald square. If your budget is lower, I heard Willamsberg or Long Island city is good.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
