Especially if you live with other people. Sharing accommodation and meals is makes money go farther. I live in chicago, not exactly a cheap place to live, and I would like to say that I live on far less that 125/week. I live with my parents and my total weekly food/clothing bill is about $70/week, and that is a high estimate. Maybe if you go out for every meal, that would be okay. but 125 a week for groceries for 1 person is totally fine. That's probably enough for 3 people, if you are smart about it.
