May I suggest listening to this song by The Smiths: https://youtu.be/pEq8DBxm0J4 In which are included the lyrics: There's a club if you'd like to go you could meet somebody who really loves you so you go, and you stand on your own and you leave on your own and you go home, and you cry and you want to die

Just listen to The Smiths. Morrissey has made a whole career out of not manning up. Take the lyrics to "How Soon Is Now?" for example: There's a club if you'd like to go You could meet somebody who really loves you So you go and you stand on your own And you leave on your own And you go home and you cry And you want to die Joking aside, I've been there too. Depression and low self-confidence is a real thing. The only cure that I have found for it is to find something that you like to do and go o…

I agree with ski_desperado... You people might be right in saying that a woman wants things that society doesn't allow them to have, but how are women ever going to live in a society that respects their desires and wants if men continue not to listen to what they say? When a woman says something to me, I listen. I respect what she has to say and I want to think that she is being honest. Sometimes you guys get lost in 'the game' and forget that there is a human being on the other side of things, …

I see what you're saying, but here's the problem with morality as such: we could always be doing more to help the world. I am a vegetarian and I believe that animals have the same right to life that humans do. So to me, eating thousands of hamburgers in your lifetime, considering all the horrible suffering those cows on factory farms go through, is more morally reprehensible than breaking up one family with an unsatisfied wife. Then someone else might say, "Oh, the fact that you buy computer pro…

If I was in a boring marriage, I would want some hot young stud to come seduce me, too. It's not just about emotional manipulation - it's about making life more exciting for everyone. I'd honestly rather disrupt a banal marriage than take the innocence of a young 20yo girl. Not saying that those are the only two options, but plenty of guys creep on younger, more insecure women. It seems actually more morally respectable to go after someone that's already gone through the growing pains of their 2…

If you think I stand for "just fucking", you obviously haven't read my post. I swear, it's as if some of you have never read Nietzsche before. Break the old tablets of morality and establish your own. The only truly abominable thing is to do what's easy. I stand for a challenge.

"objective feelings" I don't think there is such a thing?

Honestly, I am completely sincere in saying, thank you for your reply. You're very right: it IS easy to lose sight of the big picture. I just assume that all married men are assholes who want to keep women away from the world, but I didn't think of the guilt that the woman might feel as well. She did, after all, make a promise to this person, no matter how much of a tool he might be. Every time people have a celebration at work for an employee who is getting married, I deliberately do not attend…

Apparently, this is a line that I was not supposed to cross. Whoops. Where did my morality go? I must have lost it somewhere along the way during adolescence... But where shall I find that man who will teach it to me again? Maybe I'm just insane and I don't realize it...

Perhaps I've forgotten how far I've strayed from the beaten path of morality... Forgive me, Father, for my transgressions... A regular St. Paul you are, to tell me that I shall reap what I soweth. However, as I am an atheist, I don't believe in a universe in which our fates are ruled by forces outside our control. Or perhaps you meant this in a more literal sense, as in, some day I'm going to get caught and have to face off with some pissed off husband (as far as that goes, I'm prepared - in the…

I agree with all of what you are saying, although I agree that it is a bit tl;dr. The only point I would add is that you have to remember to see women as equals rather than as targets or some sort of prize to be won. The moment you realize they are just average people, shaped and molded by the culture just as you have been, then you find that it is much easier not to overthink and be relaxed. Also, you have to keep in mind that a lot of women like to look good for themselves, or they are expecti…

We can't all be Romeos. I just passed by a girl in the cafe I'm sitting at who is an absolute 10 - like, I thought I had seen a 10 before and then I saw this girl. Holy shit. But even if people have said that I'm good looking, I don't think I'm even close enough in hotness for this girl. Stick with the 7s and below. That sounds like a pessimistic strategy, but life is not all about hooking up with beautiful women. As I said in my earlier response, those moments of pleasure eventually dissipate a…

I can relate. And women have told me that I'm good looking and I've success with meeting and making love to attractive women. The sad thing is - I still feel the same way as when I had no one. In fact, I'm probably worse off than before. When I was 15 and full of expectations for myself, I didn't really care about or need a girlfriend. It was only after the first taste of rejection that the desire became an all-consuming need and I've been continually searching for more ever since. Every time I …
