I just woke up from a coma from December 30, 1775. I am a loyal American militia man who is sure we totally won the big battle tomorrow, ushering in centuries of Anglo-only culture in Quebec. Unless something went wrong during the battle, I’m sure there isn’t centuries of Francophone culture there. If there was, lol considering we were about win that battle with our main man Benedict Arnold, I’m sure tasteful maidens in the far future would respect the language and citizens there. Women are the …

It is, by all accounts, a hellish experience for the humans that work there. But it won’t be for long, as soon as they figure out how to replace everyone with robots.

I was exaggerating, a little bit: around that same time my fraternity brother was good friends with the team (a successful mid major school) and he said a bit less than half were straight.

Anyone is welcome to disagree with me, but here is my observation: Men are told, through Joseph Campbell, Robert Bly, and stories like The Sword in The Stone (among many others, Greek, Roman, etc) that there is an inner king within us, who is wise and smart and savvy and survives. We recognize these as allegories: and that allegories are incredibly powerful. They impart wisdom on the next generation. They help us, ordinary men, accomplish extraordinary things: landing on a beach to take back Eur…

Imagine the scorn I would have gotten for writing about actual women (that I invited out from cold approach) who declined dates with me. But as a man I was expected to go improve myself, that no one cared. Which was actually good advice. But I didn’t get to write a first person article 😥

I am astonished at the entitlement and overweening pride of her sisters just a few years younger than her: I’ve seen them, at 33-ish and we’ll into the wall, demand and demand and me me me. Older men warn younger men: why aren’t women like her warning the women right after her?

My ex had a hot Venezuelan cousin who had to flee because her fiancé was “killed by thugs” (or maybe he was a thug). Blue pill me would have loved nothing better to white knight her to marriage and a US passport etc. I realize, now, that I would have been the sucker in that exchange, and I’d be paying the rest of my life for such an expensive mistake.

Spoiler: she is on, constantly, waiting for Chad. When gross bottom 80% men message, she can then claim “online dating doesn’t work”, since she “never went on there anyway”. Ergo, rather than face and resolve her issues and failures (like any man would be expected to), she avoid the cognitive dissonance of failing, and still be a pretty perfect princess!

Sincere wishes for good luck. Do you have an idea/guess of how long it will take you to get those skills, to improve your odds? My guess, and it is only that, is 2-5 years. In other words you (or I or anyone who is observant) can still maneuver (and even strategically backtrack, with care and focus) for another two years without much risk. At five years, heaven forbid, it would be time to take about any job less likely to be automated. I’d be very interested to hear your thoughts.

She will have time for games and lots of other non-employment activities, as cashiers are already being automated. Off topic: why don’t cashiers realize they are currently in the process, right now, of having their jobs automated away? I saw the writing in the wall in my old career, 2 to 5 years out, and gtfo.

Excellent analysis. One semi off topic question: Any of us may need to fight, however reluctantly, at any time. Objectively, on the whole, the Trump-types are much more likely (in practice) to give her what she makes so painfully clear that she ostensibly wants: tradcon life and $. Like all women on all dates, she gives away the whole story with the last thing she says at the very end. Yeah, there seemed to be more of a sense of staying on one’s lane: a bigger girl might hope for bodybuilder Chad, but would eagerly marry a better beta obese man (still a very good man, and often a man’s man). We all sort of knew our place in the pecking order. Everyone got some or most of what they wanted the most, if not everything of their wildest fantasies. Off topic but sincere question: In WW 1 and 2, nearly all men fought. In Vietnam, many did, but some men didn’t (college deferments etc). By Afghanistan and Iraq, proportionately few men went many times (for example, you), while most men (including me, and I’m true same age as you) didn’t go at all. When I was a hopeless failure of a blue pill simp, I paid (multiple times!) for speed dating. Lest anyone think this profile is not real, at one of the speed dating events I met a woman exactly like this: she would have been pretty-not beautiful- had she smiled a little. Instead, and I can still remember this twenty years later, she had the most grim look of determination on her face. Once past “hello”, she went right into this negative Nancy laundry list of religion and wanting children within …

While there are as many ways to be sober as there are sober people, generally one wants to be clear but cool about the recovery talk: IME is appropriate to bring up in the second or third date, in a non-obtrusive way. It can be handled as simply as “I choose not to drink” and then pleasantly changing the subject. We want to handle life with grace and ease, and not burden others with giving a lead to an unwitting stranger on a first date, or like our friend here, in a profile ostensibly there to …

She can do that for about four years, until her back gives out, and she ends up on disability. I say this not to mock cnas: any of us would destroy our back after a few years of lifting patients. I’m not surprised at the content. I am surprised that they seem to miss the ostensible reason for dating: to find someone to give them the long term con of lifelong security. Bosses give us paychecks, cops keep sociopaths in check long enough for us to spend those checks, and politicians create a structure for things like sewers, which prevent all of us from dying of dysentery. A tenuous analogy: Denmark’s prince, Hamlet, was repeatedly warned by his strong, male conscience to do the right thing, even though it would be more difficult and ultimately prove very costly. He also had to lose his naïveté, and con those who were trying to con him: his life depended on it. Semi off topic: 20 years ago a local deranged woman faked being pregnant, befriended a pregnant woman, and then cut the baby out of the mother, killing her. That’s how far they’ll go. Btw, after they recovered the baby (the murderess killed herself right after getting caught), I saw the baby with the father at the mall, who had since upgraded to a cuter wife, considering that his first wife (the victim) was dead and all.

Ah the oldest tactic: “You called me a child?! I’m going to show you: I’ll go get that job, car note, and house payment!” In other words, one can appeal to a man’s sense of pride (a powerful motivator) when he has something to fight for. Our current society hates and ignores me, so I’ll go away (going my own way) quietly. I won’t call anyone else a child, but I won’t participate in the shaming. They already tried that. I’m gone.

Preach! I learned intuitively in my cold approach days that 9s/10s that were college age were comparatively kind, warm, and grateful vis a vis 6s who were over 30. It got to the point where I’d not open a 6 or 7, women over 30, or women in any sort of group. They were too unkind.

True. Anyone can get a degree by 24. And often they’ll call an associates a “degree”. Heck, I’d not be surprised if she called her certificate, if she gets it, a “degree”.

Agreed. For all (justified) bashing of cold approach, attractive women are opened/closed all the time. I believe the rate is going down, due to fear of getting metoo’d, but we should never underestimate (1) the thirst of simps to freely give validation and (2) the boldness of Chad in getting another woman.

If they survived that hell, they got to come back to be told that they couldn’t enjoy a beer. As always, the white knight simps ruin it for the good men.

For some reason I find this idea compelling: I imagine watching the World Cup in a few years; wecan reflect happily on how we have built/rebuilt our lives in the intervening years to where we have left compromises behind, like your gf experience here, to live more authentically by the time we watching the games. 2022 is not too far away, but enough time for us to make a real change. You have already made a good start.

A question some people take very seriously: Would Jesus have to go to the alien planets? While I won’t touch that with a ten foot pole, I’m suggesting she has some cognitive dissonance.

I’ve had the same experience: a solid 5 (though otherwise a respectable man), I was opened once, about ten years ago, by a very pretty (but not beautiful) girl who claimed to be a model. I am not a monster: people call me “sir” all the time, and are very respectful. But I am invisible to women, much like our wall-adjacent woman in the story was.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen05/09/19 02:27 AM
7

As I’ve posted in this very thread, no one tried stylelife more than me, and I can assure that even if you had the script, you are not missing anything. While PUA had some benefit for me, if you spent your time doing almost anything else, then it was a better investment.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen05/09/19 12:14 AM
18

Even in my bluest pill of hopeless beta simp wanna be PUA, I learned not to approach women over 30: they were so cruel. Younger women were often very kind when letting me down gently. Opening 35 year olds was an invitation to a nuclear rejection.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen05/09/19 12:12 AM
16

Per your second point, she tried opening two day game sets. That’s it. And she’s posting about it, as if that is some sort of accomplishment? Meanwhile, PUAs were expected to have (no joke) a 13 point script, including said opener, dhv, seed, hook, and close (among others). And if we messed up a little, or not at all, we’d get rejected. That’s why we don’t approach anymore: it is a complete waste of time.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen05/09/19 12:08 AM

Thanks for sharing. I ask because often the wall comes early and hard, very hard, for women continually having long/late nights.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen05/09/19 12:02 AM
13

Oftentimes, back then, the girl would suddenly disappear for up to nine months, returning just as suddenly, with a chastened look and suddenly ready to accept Beta Billy. Meanwhile, a heretofore childless couple would adopt a baby. Everyone played along, because the pregnant girl needed to lock down a beta provider. Everyone won.

/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen31/08/19 02:49 AM
12

Rather than take a frank look at herself and the outcomes of her choices (read: every man’s life), rather than face cognitive dissonance, she can “justifiably” claim to her friends that “online dating doesn’t work” and “I tried and there are no good men out there”. Also, and this is childish, if she rejects men first then they can’t reject her. All in service of avoiding cognitive dissonance. (But at what price?)

Agreed. As I’ve said here before, no one here opened more day game cold approaches than me... until 2018. Things got chilled and tense between 2005 (when The Game came out) and 2018, when I realized PUA is great for everything except its ostensible raison detre. Ergo, recovering simps like me are not opening (read: validating for free) 1000+ women a year. If just a relatively few PUAs go mgtow, that is a whole lot of women not getting approached (read: free validation). This is the world they cr…

Two things are not adding up here: If Rate Me is somewhat accurate, and she is a 7+, why is she only going on one date every two months? (btw, that “lackluster” rate would be a gift from heaven for millions of simps) Why doesn’t she mention cold approaches IRL? If she is such a young-looking 8.5, why aren’t better betas and Chads falling out of the sky to ask her out to more dates? She is studiously refusing to mention something here.

I don’t know, but I do know, from watching several episodes of My 600 Pound Life that very obese folks demonstrate a range of entitlement/gratitude, like anyone else. Some (precious few) are humble and action-focused, and more than a few are as demanding and unreasonable as this example. Which is a long way of saying this very well could be real. One doesn’t end up in a situation like severe obesity by bravely facing facts and taking prompt, principled action.

Truth. Meanwhile we are expected to approach flawlessly at all hours, managing any shit test. And then inevitably get rejected anyway, since we had the audacity to not be Chad. Ergo, we quit. It is a game we can’t win. No one cares, except for the women, who aren’t getting free validation anymore, perpetuating WAATGM.

I think, my friend, we are already at the stage where young men are dropping out of society. Besides our hikkimori and herbivore brothers in Japan, I have heard that record numbers of American men in their 20s are not in school/work (neet, basically). We’ll see if society can survive this.

When I was newly sober I was unemployable. Unlike the passes so eagerly handed out to these “poor women”, I now have an ordinary, responsible job but I had to start to scammy Craigslist jobs. This is true, IME: When The Game first came out in late 2005 and early 2006, it is was novel and very powerful. It was a revelation. As I’ve said before: if I, a perfectly respectable man, beta af, were to approach her today and invite her on the proper date she says she wants, she would say no. If she did say yes (unlikely) there is an almost 100% chance she wouldn’t show. I invited them on dates. No one tried harder than me. They all said no. The deal was that to satisfy the women we love, we would build civilization: air conditioning, polio vaccine, canned goods and then be rewarded with sex and support and building the next generation to outdo us. Women naturally being dissatisfied was good for us: it brought out our best selves, and society was in homeostasis for ten thousand years. But, since they now better than millennia of civilization: Society changed the reward (get back to the plantation, incel) but expects us to still endl…

I worked in a town near there (that anyone would recognize, but I don’t want to dox myself), but am not from there. I found that, contrary to the many other parts of the country I’ve been to, there is a ruthlessly enforced hierarchy in MO: the good old boy network is extremely strong. I could see why people would give up: the upper crust (lol) of Sedalia or Lee’s Summit expect their lessers to know their place. The go getters see what is going on, and leave for KC/St L/etc, leaving the majority …

Though I haven’t been there in ten years, I found Sedalia had a very strong recovery community. Being a square, I didn’t know that it was meth; I would have assumed it was opiates. Of course at the time I was getting my butt kicked by alcohol abuse, so I couldn’t parse what others were suffering with. I hope the lovely people of Sedalia are hanging on. If she were to ask that question, and she were serious about marriage, she would immediately effect a plan to be around these mega Chads. She would get on the boards of local country clubs, chamber of commerce, anywhere there are men earning 100k plus. As you astutely point out, these mega Chads have endless options, so she’d really have to get out there and really sell herself, experiencing lots of rejection. Pity that with all her self professed beauty and kindness she couldn’t accept the men …
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen10/04/19 04:28 PM

Of her many mistakes, here is the one causing her pain: she wants it both ways. That is: She wants the modern CC in her twenties. Now she wants mega Chad, a top 1% of men, to approach her in the traditional way. She wants to be courted (flowers etc) while rejecting men for the last 13 years. I suspect she realizes she rejected any number of Chads in her 20s, when they would approach her. She wants the men to come to her, but it is not happening anymore.

The sad outcome of choice addiction: As a teller she sees an endless stream of men (ordinary men, Chads, business owners, vendors) and can see, at a glance, how much money they have. A sincere question, offered several ways: Why doesn’t the women’s marriage market correct itself? In other words, positing that the top 20% of men are in practice unavailable for the average (ie 50th percentile) woman: Why can’t they get tingles for men in the next ten percentiles? A man between 70 and 79th percentiles is a high value man. Perhaps related to the prisoners dilemma, why don’t a horde of average (or below average) women flood the market for these men in the 70s percentiles? No mega…

Great find. Thanks very much for sharing. I found much of it conforming to my experiences. One quibble: at the end they write about the “marriage market “. I am always curious if I ever opened/closed any of these women posting IRL. I am mgtow now, of course, but for many years was totally ready to wife up any woman who looked twice at me. Stated another way, I wonder how many decent, beta men our OP rejected?

Claims to be in sales, yet issues a list of demands, without a word of what benefit her product (her) would bring. I sincerely wonder when the tipping point will arrive when they realize enough men have been driven away from what is left of the marriage market. Will they act surprised? Society can’t continue like this.

I laugh, bitterly: suddenly “ghosting” (what we called standing someone up) is bad bad bad? Women have been standing men up for years, and now that hypergamy is heaping ever more choices in Chad, who is now ghosting these women, suddenly it is a big deal. No sympathy.

She wouldn’t like the outcome of what the matriarchy, still powerful in the 50s, would do to her: rightly seen as a home wrecker ready for someone else’s husband, she would be ostracized.

Just yesterday I was at work, pushing a noisy cart ten feet behind a woman. She went right through the door, never considering me. I think the larger picture is that women expect to be given space/open doors, and then show zero gratitude. Ergo, I don’t owe anything to anyone: being a nice guy got me abuse. So, bye society, as I GMOW. Enjoy Chad and Tyrone, who are not known for their thoughtfulness. You got the system you wanted.

Well said. And here is what I wonder: who, or what, is being served by this change? My guess is that it satisfies two short term dopamine hits to women: validation (“all these men are texting me”) and choice addiction. The irony is that women seem no better off than before the texting revolution: they still “can’t find” a good man. They jettisoned the thousand year old courting system that the matriarchy so painstakingly gifted them. But nope, they know better. Short term thrill of sexting Chad,…

Another daughter of the most high king. Like I said here before, I know otherwise sane women who believe they are the child of the king. Not in a poetic or mythopoetic way, but that they are actually Meghan Markle, ready to be rescued by their king any moment.

“Not texting forever “: I had to laugh bitterly at that. Before texting (maybe as late as 2004), we would agree on a day/time/place to meet for a date, and the next step would be to show up (which of course they rarely did, even then). In the last twenty years, they all decided they needed text game. Bottom 80% men failed this shit test, while Chad and Tyrone got nudes. Again, women giving away their most valuable bargaining chip for the most fleeting and superficial of returns. Ergo WAATGM.

The irony is that the people (read: men) who are building automation and AI are often red pill/mgtow. The creators. Of those guys I know, none are married or have children. The consumers (anyone who you’d think of) are actively breeding like rabbits. Not a sustainable long term system.

The irony, my friend, is that (so far as I understand) this debt free virgin no tattoos was begun by a tradcon christian woman blog post. While I am not a tradcon, Christian, or woman, I fully support her right to post such a stance, and see how it fares in the marketplace of ideas. I do find it interesting that religious/moral diversity is celebrated, until it isn’t.

She might prefer that to the reality: A true King would arrange his daughters marriage to create a more stable realm. An ordinary small “k” king (I guess an ordinary man who had regal qualities) would have raised a daughter who would either avoid single motherhood, or been worthy to keep by Chad. My guess is that she really just wants her princess day.
