While I don't disagree with your sentiments, as with all things it isn't that simple unfortunately. At this juncture I think there's a lot that could be done by normal everyday people like me and you. But our biggest hurdle is career politicians. Local, state, and federal. Which is why I'm for term limits across the board for any elected position. This would resolve many of our internal woes as politicians could no longer be immune to their bad decisions.
