Sorry to hear that. To you I'd say pretty much the same thing I said to /u/UK_Garce. Obviously there are shitty parents from both genders, but damaging, long-term effects seem to permeate when women don't have good fathers.

Sure, but it's much more common to have an absent father than an absent mother. Mothers are absolutely important, but I've never dated a girl with "mommy issues" whereas girls with "daddy issues" seem all too common.

I'm guessing she has a loving, caring, strong father figure who treats her mother well. I've noticed an astounding correlation among the women I date. The role of a father is vastly understated in our modern society.

I don't think German pride is socially acceptable at all. Maybe in America it's ok, but ethnic Germans aren't really allowed to have pride in their ancestry in their native homeland. And doesn't that same logic apply to white pride though? A lot of "white" Americans can't trace their ancestry back to any specific group(s), especially the ones from poor rural backgrounds.
