Women* - they don't want to work. They want to do the bare minimum and use the rest of the time taking photos/media for their online life, talking for hours with each other, then complaining and crying.

I agree with this. Don't go to the extreme, but find a happy medium. You have this time to find your authentic self and let nobody take that away. Be safe and here to support you.

I can believe it. I was only a part of the 30s for a short while before I realized quickly how toxic it was. Only few men expressed frustration with dating, but it was the upvotes and smpthay that went towards the posts women wrote. I tried to call out the misandry and give some perspectives, but I got called creepy the last time and left altogether. Those subs are just pity parties for women who have toxic behaviors.

As well as dating over subs, but especially dating over 30s and 40s.

Tbh - I wish they didn't want to pull women into computer science. The majority of them in my classes don't like the material to begin with. They only want the money and lifestyle they can film on social media platforms.

Dang - I got out of that sub within a few months, I couldn't stand the people and the moderators. Also, yes your point number 2 I've made in a few subreddits already - but yes within my CS courses (or SE/Tech/CS/Info Sec), the men in the major(s), including myself, will have to work so much harder just to get noticed by employers. Whereas, the women in the department won't have to work as hard to get their dream career/job/whatever goal. They are just the quota, as well as being paid to conferen…

I'll take the first one. I can be lazy with my appearance as well - but perhaps as a couple activity, we could dress up once in a while. But I would rather have someone who loves me, wants to fuck me, and respects me.

... having careers with affirmative action quotas beyond actual representation in the population, and/or skewing hiring so far much less qualified women are hired before better qualified male applicants. This is why I've been bummed for the last few days. I look across my CS classes, see the women, and think, "They got it so lucky. They don't have to work as hard to get dream employment or dream career tracks. They have to identify as female/woman, and they're set." Whereas, with other guys and …

I thought about this today while I was in my CS class. I looked across the class and saw many women and probably many more in other sections. I thought how lucky they are because they don't have to work as hard and still get scholarships/programs and employment because companies want to be woke and fill the diversity gap. Whereas the other men in my class (including myself) will have to work much harder and stand out. I wouldn't mind about the diversity, only if it was on equal playing grounds. …

This has been helpful for me. Thank you.

I'm not looking forward to entering the workplace (I'll be entering a male-dominated field or I thought). It's disheartening to think I won't get selected for the job because they have to fill a quota for women. Rather than select for skill, talent and hard work.

Type this in a calculator and turn it upside down.

As a straight, trans man myself I relate. This is why I have left many of the left feminist spaces as well. Plus, many of my local LGBT+ communities because of the hatred towards men/masculinity. I find solace within some ftm groups, but mostly through binary trans men spaces through FB, Instragram, and Reddit. I'm sorry for what you've been through brother, and I'm glad the comments gave you confidence and love. :)

That's why I'm away from Tiktok. I tried my best to be easy going - but not anymore. I just want to live my life in peace and select only a few platforms to find solace in.

I am not a man who enjoys intense forwardness, but as you mentioned it's something that is desired in the culture. I thought the "slow burn" idea would be great, but I don't think that will ever catch on. It sucks too - when these women who do choose these men with toxic behaviors and do break the rules, the women go online to any platform and say a blanket term that men are evil.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
