Fellow introvert here. Cool story! I can definitely relate to that indecision as to going out or not. We do the gesture in this country that is equivalent to hugging a friend goodbye. I'm really curious as to what this gesture might be. People usually kiss on the cheek in southern Europe. Could that be it?

Interesting read. The problem, I think, is not choosing to go down the right path. The trick here is to get up and stand after the walk down the right path knocked you to the ground. It takes courage to go and talk to the girl after the last five or six made you feel miserable. You don't always win. You can argue that you win if they say three or four. But you lose if they say any other number.

That pretty much applies for every scenario in life. The issue, for me at least, is not knowing that I have to do something, but finding the motivation or the balls to do it.
