A good choice. You might even consider it a form of Hypergamy on the women's part for they did eventually have a chance to leave but decided to stay with their Roman husbands. 4	Why women don't tell you what they want To continue with the oak tree in the storm metaphor. Wouldn't you be a stronger "tree" so to speak by weathering her storm? So in a way, by dealing with her problems in a stoic fashion you reinforce your own behavior. That's a plus for you. And you solve a problem of hers. Plus for her. I see a win-win situation here.
