Yeah, her reaction was obviously fake. Thankfully. I don't like believing people can be that mean in the real world.

I really am not interested in a guy who is intimidated by someone else's height. You can look at your height as a gift in this regard, in that you can immediately filter guys with fundamental insecurities. I tend to feel that if a man is uncomfortable with being shorter than a woman, he may be less confident and hiding deeper insecurities. Granted, this is different from a man simply not being attracted to a taller woman but it's still something I would keep in mind.

Disclaimer: I read maybe the first chapter in the Amazon preview, to see what all the hubbub was about. Are you worried that men will want to tie you up and the only way you'll be able to keep a man is by doing BDSM? I don't think you have anything to worry about. It's not a book/movie oriented towards men, and I personally would probably not want to date a man who takes life lessons and sex pointers from 50 Shades of Grey. That being said, if someone is unhappy with their sex life, and finds so…

Having a contingency plan for every minute social interaction seems overwhelming and almost fake. So, I asked why people don't generally value those who work on social interactions in another comment of this thread, but you totally answered my question. I respect guys who are working hard to improve themselves, but if they lack the ability to think for themselves in a social interaction, I am going to be turned off. Whereas the "I don't give a fuck" attitude is a definite turn-on.

Oh, I absolutely agree! I actually am curious about why that is. Most tend to find that people who work to improve themselves are attractive. However, working to be better at pick-up lines or being charismatic is not considered an attractive trait. How does that work?!

Very, very good points -- especially this one: A man who has 3 ex-wives doesn't make any woman weak at the knees. It shows that he couldn't work it out with other women, and so it doesn't spell high hopes for you. It's so true, yet I've never realized this until now.

Write "How would you feel about dating an 18 year old guy right now? And what do you think of guys your age who are sleeping with 18 year old girls?". Not just that, but they've been dating for over a year. I try not to be judgmental about age differences but a 17 year old possibly sleeping with someone in their thirties is illegal in some states in the US. I don't think OP should want to commit to that.

You can be a housewife but not submit to your husband. Of course. And you can have a career while taking care of your partner. If you read through this subreddit more, you'll find women who make more money than their partners, women who work while their partners stay home, and so on. They can all still apply Red Pill theory to their relationships. Much of this comes down to prioritizing relationships over other interests in life. I can't and won't prescribe TRP to others, but it's what works for…

Don't order from the right side of the menu. What does that mean, if you don't mind me asking?

Just as an FYI, most tech programs you enter a PhD program after getting your bachelor's -- not after getting your masters. It's possible she was also talking about interning, which is pretty common for engineering students. But I absolutely agree with everything else you've said :). It sounds like O.P. has some self-esteem issues. Edit: Also, people tend to take classes and have homework only in the first 1-2 years of a doctoral program. So it sounds like she's really in the beginning of the pr…
