That's called stalking.

Physical insecurity and feeling insecure are two very different things. Providing for one's self is concrete. One's self-image is not

The thing is, you won't actually hear from the ones that do indeed go their own way, happily or otherwise.

Sounds like a good number of both men and women prefer to stay single. Not sure why OP sounds so upset about it. The one potential problem I see is that perhaps a population crash could happen. Hopefully someone with the appropriate math and sociology skills looks into it.

More people and less quality. Why would anyone want to sleep with someone who was impressed that they are famous?

A lot of people making simplistic assertions and blanket statements can't comprehend that not everyone sees the world like they do or has the same preferences.

At a glance but not for long.

Other than wearing a burka, it is pretty difficult to hide if someone is really fit.

If they are in really good shape then they obviously aren't lazy.

I don't think it is deceptive at all. But I think too many people care far more about the wrapping rather than the package. Someone really fit will look good in anything, even if they cut their own hair without a mirror. Fitness, education, compassion, and being interesting are far, far more important than someone's clothing or makeup, which is more about status and conspicuous consumption than anything else. And like everything else, the people who have it don't feel the need to announce or fla…

How about no shame all around? How awful that they did the sex!
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/24 09:45 AM

I was standing around a group of friends once and realized that all but one guy/girl combo had hooked up and a lot of the girl/girl ones as well. And what exactly is there to have shame about?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/24 09:43 AM

they think they are better than man that are far more intelligent, interesting and important to society than they are. I think you are trying to quantify qualitative characteristics. And they don't work like that, especially in a world where different people score others differently and according to different criteria.

I think people who are successful are less likely to encounter women like this. Strong, capable people generally like partners like themselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/24 01:37 PM

Using your height is an excuse. There are plenty of short people with happy lives as well as absolute winners. Few people are doomed to a life of misery or being perpetually single by one characteristic.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/24 01:27 PM

Mem don't protect women. Most violence against women is caused by men Men both protect women and victimize them. It isn't an either/or proposition.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/24 01:24 PM

Like intelligence, the vast majority are part of a median. The people below and above average are outliers and few in number.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/24 01:21 PM

Not being attracted to or willing to date someone doesn't mean you think you are better than them. Your initial assertion is false and you are equating two things that are not equal. It is an arbitrary rule you seem to think is real but is purely a product of your expectations.

That isn't Western culture. One could make an argument that it is modern culture perhaps. I think media culture is more specific.

I don't disagree but I think there is an underlying reason why most of the people I found interesting enough to have friendships and relationships with have good taste in literature and interesting life experiences, although often very different than my own. And I don't think of our conversations as being particularly intellectual or brilliant. The kinds of things money can't buy turn out to be pretty important.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/22 03:19 PM

People saying they did something on the internet and actually doing them are two different things an awful lot of the time. Don't forget to save some outrage for reality.

I agree but generally attractive is not "the top women" or a "ten".

Most men (and women for that matter) agree on who is ugly and who is generally in the “very attractive” category In the face and overall health, yes. But hair color, eye color, body shape, fitness; no. And while there is a majority who find certain types attractive, the significant minorities who disagree number in the tens, if not hundreds, of millions. If we lined up a thousand men's perfect 10, they would look very different, despite the commonalities of a pretty face and looking healthy. Alm…

It's not a binary choice. I've dated people for a few months that I don't regret in the slightest, nor were we a good match to marry. Still was an enjoyable relationship. Some are still friends.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/22 11:57 AM

It's funny because you think there are objective "top women". There aren't. What people consider the most desirable varies as drastically as people's values do.

Nightclubs are a piss poor place to hook up for many people. And I'm of the opinion for even a lot of people who think otherwise. If you like dancing then I can see it being a great time. Satisfaction regarding a relationship, no matter how short or long term, not so much.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/22 11:53 AM

Many people take a neurological/emotional/sexual imprint of a certain type as they grow up and come of age. I think that effects a lot of people's choices. And while what you mention is a factor, for some amount of people, it is not the only factor. While there are commonalities between what the majority consider hot, there is no universal ideal of hot. A lot of people are stuck in the mindset that everyone thinks what they think is hot. It's just not true. Nightclub. Well, that pretty much conf…

I'm 30. It's pretty pointless at this age. WOT? That is generally not healthy. Seen a doctor lately? Nothing wrong with it necessarily but I very much disagree.

The average person doesn't bring a whole lot to the table. Most people, at least in the US, are boring suburbanite consumerists, regardless of where they live. And while a lot of them seem to be happy with this, it also makes sense that there are a lot of dissatisfied people.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/22 11:07 AM

Useful in that case generally means interesting and enjoyable to be around. God forbid guys find a partner in crime/adventure that likes to have sex with them.

Maybe don't date lame women then.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/22 11:01 AM

Evolution tends to favor people who have a delusional, over-inflated self image. Human evolution clearly favored people and a species that know how to cooperate and work well with others.

For different reasons and for different people, they are just as sexy. Mature men generally do not want to date 21 year olds. If you had said 28 and 38 you might have a point. Sexy is not just physical appearance.

Keeping a man or woman's interest can be difficult. Not everyone finds the same person interesting and it sucks when the interest is one-way. But that's life. I don't know the secret to making a long lasting, fulfilling relationship work for me either. I do know that it involves much more than being tall, good-looking, and rich though.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/22 05:38 PM

We're not just apes. Apparently we're pretty great at it.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/22 04:55 PM

It's only crazy until you try it. Plus many people are doing saunas beforehand. I would consider myself a somewhat well-traveled psychonaut and I jumped into the winter ocean when hungover one time for the fuck of it. The resulting high was pretty damn amazing and lasted at least a couple hours. And I am most assuredly not one of those "natural high" type people. edit: Oh, yeah, I should mention that the hangover was gone instantly.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/22 04:53 PM

This is so whiny and sad. Maybe the secret of being a Chad is being able to make women feel that way in bed. Being subsumed by lust is transcendent.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/22 04:40 PM

There's very few things all men and all women like. Seems to be a popular activity, though hardly universal, in my experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/22 04:37 PM

There are tens, if not hundreds, of millions of people who grew up with the same amount of family wealth and influence as those folks. Their families were all upper middle class to lower upper class. Not what I would call old money at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/22 04:36 PM

Because most people can separate fantasy from reality and people like to lose control in a safe environment. Plus being the object of someone else's near absolute attention, desire, and pleasure is hot as fuck.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/22 04:13 PM

WHat happened instead is that taller, stronger, and more fit men OUTBRED scrawny men. Not immediately, but after a while. No, they didn't. Brains and the ability to cooperate have been selected for as much or more than looks since the dawn of agriculture. You might be confused by mistaking charisma for Hollywood good looks. Sure, maybe most everyone dreams about that. But they have families with regular people.

If you think working 50 hours a week and having less than a months vacation, all while paying off student debt while housing costs are at an all time high is peak society, I feel sorry for you. And this situation bleeds over into both relationships and the arts. I get the feeling you are either part of the "successful" minority or have Stockholm Syndrome. And I'm not a Red Piller.

and most of those 20 percent try to cope with the fact that they have to They don't have to. A Rabbit and a Magic Wand outperform 90% of that 20% of guys. They might think they do because that is where they have pinned their self-image and self-esteem but that is arbitrary. Although I think most men and women in their 20s have little desire or ability to settle down.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/22 03:39 PM

Is it sick or just a disconnect? Most people in their 20s aren't into commitment. And it often doesn't work out for those who are. It's a volatile, formative decade for many people and they change a whole lot.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/22 03:32 PM

Idk how to reverse this trend. Decent pay and working conditions? Getting rid of student debt? It's not like all the other countries in the Western world have these same issues so they aren't inevitable.

people don’t like when you make friends with the intent to hit on them (more specifically women) or their peer group. Wait, people don't like to meet interesting potential partners for themselves and their friends? My experience has been different. Short term or long term, people are always looking for new interesting people.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/22 02:22 PM

Agreed but one could suggest that the values that make the cutthroat working world so miserable right now are bleeding over into the dating world. Not that OP is thinking in those terms.

More women than men gives men the advantage. And college educated women almost exclusively date college educated men, skewing those numbers even more.

How ridiculous that people want to spend time and have sex with interesting and charming people rather than a living mannequin. /s
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/22 01:56 PM
1

Men's initial criteria is physical appearance. And while it is most often more important to men than women, it is not primary for every man. Values and not being boring are important even for brief partnerships. And that means that to many women, being interesting and charming is often more important than how you look. I personally could care less about some boring gorgeous people of either sex, especially those with typical good looks.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/22 01:51 PM
2

Some people's relationships with themselves and others remain this way for much of their life, sadly. Whatever floats your boat. Most people I know want something more out of life, themselves, and their partners, even if those partnerships are brief. Also people like this tend to think of those scores in absolutes rather than realize different people are attracted to different things.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/22 01:46 PM

This would entirely depend on which Red Pill guys one knows. I'm sure there are enough of both to give either impression. And some people include incels among that group because they seem to have the same outlook.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/22 01:43 PM

Knowing how to do it for one's self is a big part of being able to orgasm with a partner. There's nothing wrong with using sex toys with partners either.

Can you imagine how dismal it must be to encounter the fifth guy in a row suffering from "death grip"? That's no more a thing than women becoming desensitized from using vibrators.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/22 12:10 AM

or has desensitized her clit from spending hours on her vibrator. Yeah, that's not a thing. Women who use vibrators/sex toys are generally better about knowing what brings them to orgasm.

Everyone needs to lift, if you want to stay active as you get older. Otherwise your bones lose density, to say nothing of getting weak and losing muscle mass. And it's easier to start before you are 60 years old.

There's no "should" here. Something FDS and a lot of red pillers can't quite grasp. I was almost always willing to pay for dates when taking women out. They often don't want to, and if I like someone, I'm trying to get along with them. Tussling over small potatoes is sooo sexy. /s No one is anyone to tell anyone else what they should do. Their opinions about what is best for other people are merely that, and largely a waste of time. I prefer to talk in terms of what we could do or what I like to…

I don't know. But a lot of people do. You seemed to indicate you do when you implied that you think men don't actually like women. That people in this subreddit, as well as RedPillers, incels, and FDS don't seem to know people like that or think they exist kind of points to it. Hence a lot of their confusion.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/22 09:29 PM

Try being secure, aggressive, interesting, and get along and cooperate well with others. Very attractive qualities. Probably the most attractive to other well developed, healthy people. Asshole is a shortcut, but a limitation as well. Unless shallow psychopath is an acceptable end goal.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/22 09:23 PM
2

Secure, aggressive people who also get along with and cooperate with others also fit the bill. But are more rare. They are both confident and also have interesting stuff going on in their lives. Attractiveness achieved, no asshole masculinity required. Women can be like this as well and it is quite attractive when they are.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/22 09:13 PM

Aggressive doesn't just mean physically aggressive towards people. Go-getters who will end up successful are aggressive but, if they are truly going to be successful, also know how to cooperate and get along with people. Neither of which is contrary to being aggressive. Dominant and aggressive people can be gentle. Insecure and aggressive people tend more often to be the type who mistreat others. There are but I wasn't thinking so much men and women as community interaction. Most towns have nothing like those two places and now ours no longer does either.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/22 11:31 PM

Both places had new leases refused. My town got yuppified/bougie. One was a community center, the other was a coffee shop/pub/venue that was the town square for news and interaction, at least among the artsy and weirdos.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/22 10:47 PM

It's kind of choice. But less of one now that the good places where people gathered have closed down. And that happened long before COVID. But there are still places to go, I agree.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/22 10:27 PM

People talk on Twitter/Reddit etc rather than in the coffee shop/pubs now. It seems like there is a lot less interaction in person to me. Maybe it's just my town that has changed.

FDS is about 250k subscribers. Holy crap. Did not realize how popular that sub is. I wonder how many are active on there regularly versus how many thought it looked good at first, then noped out without unsubscribing but are uninvolved. That's a lot of people to be that angry. edit: the top post has ~17,000 upvotes and the top ten posts have ~12,000. So the community doesn't seem that big.

Do you think all famous and accomplished people had kids or even a wife? I never said or even implied that I was. But did imply that obviously the list of people who lived good lives without a wife and kids is who aren't famous is even longer than an obviously already long list.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/22 09:05 PM

I've not experienced this. You must hang out with shitty people. Although I have noticed lots of young men and women who never had chores and have no idea how to cook or clean for themselves. I've not seen it to be much different between the two though and women definitely are not being raised to take care of their brothers anywhere I have lived. Not sure what third world country you are from though.

/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/22 08:57 PM

Then why do women come here and have a meltdown in the comments section? Because they are a minority. I have no idea if the premise is true or not, and likely neither does the OP. Women who complain about RedPillers and Incels are definitely thinking about them. Not when they pick who they date but when they complain.

/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/22 08:05 PM

How is it a proven fact? Living longer says nothing about the quality of life. And as for divorce, men are stigmatized more than than women for leaving, especially if kids are involved, and men are often punished more through divorce. Not trying to say men are poor victims or anything. I don't even agree with the premise.

but women will isolate themselves more and be less vocal. I disagree. Women commiserate and complain to each other and in the media plenty.

I’ve been single for about 6 years and it has been far more comfortable than being in a relationship or having a FWB. Sounds like a good idea because the guys in your circle sound like some really low tier men.

But not having a man baby to take care of actually frees up a woman’s time and energy to fill her free time with whatever her heart desires. Too often in the US that ends up being a job with shit work conditions and hours compared to the rest of the Western world, a long commute, and a cookie cutter box to live in. I kind of doubt that is the heart's desire for either men or women.

But the argument is that people who think that they are great on the inside believe that they are being neglected for people who look great on the outside but are crap on the inside I would argue that maybe something is wrong with the insides of the people who think they can decide or judge this for others. If their argument is "I'm perfectly fine, why won't anyone date me?" maybe they aren't perfectly fine. And I don't mean on the outside.

I agree to a certain extent but I disagree about what many people consider universal to be. 99% is universal. 90% isn't because 10% is still a significant minority. The remaining 10% may be a small percentage but it is a lot of people by number.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/22 06:36 PM

Not true. Women are not universally attracted to people who look like Chris Hemsworth or even him. And some who do find that type attractive would turn him down solely because he asked at the gym - or their work - because it's the sure sign of an inconsiderate tool who thinks they can do that because they are so good looking.

Modeling agencies are still in competition against each other for talent and making sex a requirement is a good way to lose out on talent. Same goes for actors. At a certain level, casting couch type shit definitely happens and is probably even common but it is not universal.

Some do. And it's still fucked up. I dated a young woman who I first saw as a cashier at the grocery. I thought that maybe she liked me but of course I didn't say anything because that's fucked up to ask for their number or bother them at their work. Or the gym. When we eventually met she wondered why I never asked for her number as a cashier. And even when I pointed out how that would be annoying for the other 99% of guys that she encountered she didn't appreciate the irony. But the vast majori…

No, it doesn't. Because there's no such thing as "attractive" because it means different things to different people. The amount of people that have near universal appeal is small and they don't need to cold approach people.

For dating, go through friends, hobbies and hobby groups, church, civic groups/volunteering, and dating services. There are nightclubs, clubs, apps and services for hooking up. Bars are most definitely fair game for both. Approaching strangers in public is generally frowned upon.

No, those are two different types of people looking for two different things. The amount of generalizing people do on this subreddit is ridiculous and the fact that they don't realize that explains a lot of the problems and absurd views I see on here.

People who think that women are either sluts or cockteases in this situation. Slut is a pretty judgemental word but I'll accept that. But women who approach for reasons other than sex right away may do so for a number of reasons and in a number of ways.

Do you view her as “easier” and therefore not wife material? Or are you attracted by the confidence and would want to match her efforts? It depends on how and why they are making the move. We mostly hear from the ones that are disgruntled. I would like to see actual stats. I agree that it is likely that more women are content. But I doubt it is as one-sided as OP makes it out to be. What's with PPD and sweeping generalized statements? One reason is that women's sex toys are better and also more socially acceptable. Get back to me when we have sex robots and I think it likely the situation changes. And I would not call the women on FDS "content". Many seem damn bitter.

That depends on how they got rich. Not all rich people are smart. Not even all self-made rich men. Self-made rich men are mostly shrewd though but even they marry trophy wives. Also depends on the age gap. People who marry for money get the pathetic life they deserve. If the premise was that self-made rich men generally want women who have similar qualities to themselves rather than just beauty then I would agree.

Whiwh is interesting bc another dude corrected me when I said men invented the system of misogyny. And he pretty much contradicted me by claiming that misogyny was innate in males bc even in prehistoric times, men were already beating up their wives. But I doubt that is the case. Cooperation and fertility were highly valued in prehistoric times. There was far more protection and provision for women and children than beating them. And I'm not so sure about the concept of wives either.

Weird. I thought it was our ridiculously large economy and massive cultural exports that do it. Iraq did not endear us to anyone. Even Vietnam is a trading partner now. Our military excursions have been both bad ideas and have not helped. Why do people love us? Because we've got a huge economy.

Yes, by numbers. And authoritarians tend to skew the dating scene towards men when they have the chance. BUT considering women are enjoying some amount of freedom now, with the large numbers of women outnumbering men, what if women started taking an authoritarian role in the ashes of Armageddon? What would that look like? I'm guessing not a land of flowers and ecological utopia like some folks in FDSland claim.

I think the majority of men looking for long term relationships would prefer that the woman they choose hasn’t slept around all over town. Could be. I'm more concerned with how and why they slept with the people they did than the number. Regarding LTRs, I think most men do not care if a woman has slept all over town. But then again, the town matters. I'd prefer 100 guys all over the country rather than in a single town.

Mature, healthy people are truthful about their sex lives. It's just that body count isn't a very good metric to learn anything useful about a person, so most people don't talk about it. But they do talk about past sex experiences, what they liked, what they didn't like, what was funny/shocking/weird etc. Virginity is a made up and fictional concept entirely.

An exaggeration, but you get the idea. Most partners and I have been very honest about our sex lives and our "deviance".

Good sex and good relationships don't lie. Proof is in the pudding. I highly suggest looking at what the happy people having good sex do. Body counts are only tangentially related.

The kid at school that gets bullied isnt sleeping with all the girls. We most certainly are. Things change a lot after high school. I was a late bloomer. I made up for that. Ugly guys? not so much, especially ugly on the inside. Fat guys? Less common for sure. Short guys? Still finding plenty of women.

Then there should be no issue talking about past exes and experiences and all that. No. Generally there isn't. And it does matter. How they handled past relationships and what they learned most definitely matters. And yes, generally discussing sex is pretty positive, unless it is one of the (all too frequent) times when women are telling me about abuse or rape. I'm guessing this is new territory for you. People talking openly about sex and sexual experiences is normal and healthy. And not a caus…

People are honest regarding what has worked well in the past and what they like. They don't directly compare people though or rate people compared to past partners. That has nothing to do with honesty. It's about good communication and tact.

They don't avoid so much as it's a meaningless metric that no one is concerned about. Bringing it up is a glaring indication that someone doesn't understand what actually makes relationships and sexual relationships work well. And that they have serious hangups and are immature..

Everyone lies about their sexual history. No, we don't.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/22 08:15 PM

They don't avoid it, it just isn't interesting or pertinent, compared to people's other attitudes and history. I, a guy, care about qualities, not quantities. Do they sound like they know what good sex is and how to have it? Do they have the qualities necessary for either a good lay or a good relationship? These are far more of interest to me and far more relevant. And people rarely develop them without having some sex and experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/22 08:14 PM

If a woman actually believes "only insecure" men care about their sexual history, then usually she doesn't lie about it. Unless she thinks you are insecure and either wants to get laid or still thinks you are worth getting to know anyway.

The necessity of student loans is a crime. Men and women both bitch about it, and for good reason. It's a form of indentured servitude and mostly found in the US. If the rest of the Western world manages without them, why can't we?

/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/22 07:42 PM

No, I think most women get it. They do the same, when they want, which is less than men, because short term hookups are less satisfying for women and women's sex toys are more satisfying. I think men and women are equally okay living without a relationship, despite what postings on Reddit might indicate.

I agree but statistics don't speak to contentedness though. That the poster you replied to thinks the criteria he mentioned somehow speaks to the person being interesting or a desirable partner shows how out of touch he is with what people want. Amazing Olympic display of mental gymnastics. You seriously think the process of 'wait for the right moment to walk up to her, dress right, right eye contact, right posture, right conversation topics, right body language, interested but not too interested, funny but not goofy, respectable but not serious, thread the needle thread the needle thread the needle' of a man approaching a woman, is just as much a burden as the woman sitting there and existing (like an object) and reacting to the man's …

Also, as I mentioned elsewhere, women didn't used to have all the options that single life now allows, like a career, their very own credit card !, a lease or home in their own name, any kind of social status, etc. Both men and women have options, and they are using them. Which is great. Despite a loud minority of whiners of both sexes that aren't finding what they want.

Seems like a valid choice to me. The idea of settling for a boring life one doesn't want is ideally put off until all other more interesting options have been exhausted. Many men are doing the same. I just see men (edit: and women) who are buying into this boring as fuck corporate world being shocked that it doesn't necessarily attract a the women partner they thought.

Both can be true. Although effeminate isn't nearly as much the complaint as FDS or RedPill would make it seem. Boring though, well, more men would do well to realize what a big female boner killer that is. Not that women are that interesting. Most people's lives have been reduced to boring these days.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/22 06:29 PM

That doesn't make a person interesting nor does it mean he has good values. "Lives in the gym" is not an attractive quality or interesting feature to most people. And what guys think "looks like a god" is not as attractive to women, nor to as many women, as they think. Taller than 6'4" is an oddity and does not attract a lot of people. That you don't realize any of this shows how incredibly out of touch you are.

It was generally a better deal for men than women though and women's life choices both with and without a man were much more limited. /r/PurplePillDebate26/02/22 06:03 PM

Nothing about how he described them makes them seem interesting necessarily. Women like interesting. Nowadays, I think having one's shit together heavily favors boring. Many careers necessitate it. Thinking that having one's shit together makes one attractive seems rather superficial to me. And for all the fit people you know, there are more overweight people now than in the past.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/22 05:53 PM
2

It's not that, it's that they find interesting far more attractive than being super fit, especially weightlifting fit. Weightlifting culture, as healthy as it is, and it's not always that healthy, is boring and attracts a lot of tools. People in the outdoor community tend to be a lot more interesting. And have a more attractive physique to women. But that is a culture that doesn't provide a lot of well-paying jobs.

You absolutely can rack up a high n count in your 20s and be a loser. Being reasonably good looking and having charisma is all it takes. Even while being unsuccessful in society. It is pretty vile but it does acknowledge something that many people do, and something maybe we all do subconsciously. What most of us find vile is the metrics they use to determine high value/low value.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/22 04:21 PM

Being in your early 20s and not getting sex is a quick recipe for obsessing about it. Plenty of both men and women not getting a healthy amount of quality sex these days, from what I understand. It doesn't sound fun. And plenty of low value men have high N counts.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/22 03:44 PM
1

That is not the only reason for one to have a low count. A desirable person is likely to attract someone they want to be with for a longer period of time quickly. Not everyone has the same values, tastes, and appetites.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/22 03:34 PM
6

Again, men place value on other men who have high n counts. I would say that men often place value on other men who seem like they could have or could get high N counts, i.e. the men they think all women want. Also the assumption that men universally want women with a low count is hilarious. And wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/22 03:29 PM

Men can just as easily say no as women can. Men have just as much access to women as women do to men to approach for sex. And since men are supposed to be the ones to initiate and do the asking, one could just as easily put the onus on the asking as opposed to the answering. You're looking at the wrong part of the deal, likely because you are resentful. It is up to individuals, not a gender.

How do you know they would have rejected them before? Also, and more importantly, the characteristics people look for in a long term relationship and a short term are different. Your basic premise is true but this part is definitely not. Not even close. Not sure how you came up with this.

It has absolutely nothing to do with whether one resents women or women's sociological tendency to hypergamy or not, which mirrors the biological reality.

No, instead they think "I need to very carefully consider who I choose to be the father of my children, and therefore who I have sex with and when." This was even more important before birth control. Which is why women got married after they were pregnant in the Middle Ages. Kids are a super important decision and therefore, so is the father(s).

You're misinterpreting OP. And FDS makes the red pill folks look like a ray of sunshine. Redpill may be cynical, but it's "good news" for those who like sex. And for the record, I'm not a red piller at all.

Anyway, “hypergamy” is so obviously a cool sciencey-sounding boogeyman for anything and everything TRP thinks is wrong with women. It's a real word and OP was not implying it meant there was anything "wrong" with women. It's an evolutionary strategy that allowed humans to survive and thrive.

It's not unrealistic. I'm definitively short, poor, and not attractive and also not a cheater. Still managed in the spaces between relationships to be pretty polygamous. Without birth control I'd have been a fertile motherfucker. Not bragging at all, as my story is typical for a lot of people.

Sure, mangas sound like a reliable source. /s "Plain" like the "plain" girls in Hollywood movies that are movie stars with slightly unfashionable hair and a pair of glasses added.

Numbers don't mean everything. Guys who like big women would call stick thin girls a 2 and vice versa., While they rate the type they like much higher. Guys who like stick thin girls will pass completely on big women and guys who like big butts and big boobs don't even consider the sticks real women.

Guys aren't looking for fat, ugly, or old women to be their options. They're looking for 22 year old bikini models with different hair colors, basically. Not even. It's only young women who haven't learned better that believe this. It's both false and ridiculous. Let me guess, you think we all only like big boobs too, just because a majority find them attractive. The swimsuit/Playboy model is the most popular but large minorities like and even prefer other types, like fat women, or women with hu…

Maybe "a lot" in number but it's still a very minuscule percentage.

What exactly does "wide variety" mean. Because I neither wank to nor have slept with anyone I would describe as even vaguely wide :) And I'm no prize pig. Not picky about skin color however.

Yes, but 99% of them fucked a good number of people when they were young before settling down.. And given the chance, many would still (and do) bang a swimsuit model(s) or close approximation.

"Men who date women taller or smarter than them usually get some mockery for this from other men, implying the ideal is to have a weaker dumber girlfriend. Where is this quote from? Sure there are some guys who are like that but those are the ones raising stupid kids. Leaders don't think like that. People who value education don't think like that. And none of my friends are that way. (Not implying at all that I am any kind of alpha/leader). Sure guys will have sex with dumber but hot women. But …

Women are only attracted to men whom they perceive as superior to them They only take for a partner men who they see as superior to them. But they absolutely will fuck men they think are losers, beneath them, or disposable. Not fat and having a dick is quite often enough for a random sex encounter. I've seen it over and over.

50/50 isn't a rule, it's a guideline and shorthand for a reciprocal relationship, rather than the FDS idea that women bring themselves, which is of supreme value in and of itself. If women are so incredible and most men are "low value", then it seems like there would be few high value men for all those great women. Which would make those men awfully high in demand. And reciprocal doesn't only mean money. While I doubt many women would be okay being the main source of monetary income, a lot of men…

I'm kind of doubting how amazing David Tian is when he immediately is unable to comprehend what he is reading in the video. I'm pretty disgusted with the whole red pill idea but Tian's very first act in the video is to misinterpret Rollo's book regarding the "list of things hypergamy doesn't care about". Of course it reads like a list of things that White Knights do. Which is why Rollo is saying men shouldn't do those things. Not recommending them. Tian makes a basic mistake of reading comprehen…

Implying women as parents lack a firm hand? That sounds like bullshit. I think small children should be in joint custody and primary custody should be sex segregated as teens. Generally. Obviously being a willing and fit parent trumps what I said above. And joint custody even if one parent has primary custody is better than exclusive custody.
