The young have begun to rob old people. Old people commit petty crimes so that they can end up in jail and get catered to. Your money's power is limited when there's not enough young people around for labour. In my country, we are pretty homogenous in terms of DNA, but we have different cultures in different regions. Certain regions place high priority on learning and produce a lot of intellectuals.
