I understand that. Now imagine I said that most men who complain about women manipulating them are the same men who choose women based on looks and not character. You would ask for proof of my claim and rightfully so. That's simply what I asked you for.

And what if I said I don't believe men who choose to have sex with women based on their looks and not their character should complain when the woman manipulates them. Okay or not okay in your mind?

"You'd be exactly as justified as they are." And do you see it as justified at all? If your opinion on a sect of women is valid because of your experience then would you see my opinion on a sect of men as valid because of my experience?

It doesn't have to be about rape. Let's say I generalized men's rights activists as being misogynists because it is what I've encountered (not saying this is true). Would I be justified? Would I need to provide evidence to back this up, or would you need to prove it wasn't true?

It comes down to this... You have generalized my gender in a negative way and you believe you are justified, based on your experiences. If I generalize your gender in a negative way based on my experiences would you believe I would be justified?

"And I am not the person you originally replied to, so referring to me as such sort of invalidates a lot of your arguments with me. But I'm humoring you." I challenged his accusation about all women. Did you not defend him when asking me for proof that he was wrong? "I simply made a statement. If you want to defend against the statement, then bring your own facts to counteract it." Why not simply give me facts backing up your statement? If you say there's a unicorn on the moon and I ask you to p…

"Not so, as there is statistical proof about yours that is provided" And again, where is the statistical proof that yours exists at all? "What would you define a real man as? If you weren't currently trying to argue with me, mostly it'd be what's referred to as "an alpha", and alphas are notoriously douches who don't treat their women as well as "betas". Who are you to tell me what I would consider anything to be? Personally I define a "real man" as a human being who considers himself a man. I d…

"There is an almost equal number of female rapists as there are male rapists, so this doesn't apply.." That's my entire point. The premise itself is flawed, but even if it weren't I'd be wrong to judge you. Now, where is the proof/evidence/numbers of your claim that all women who claim to want "real men" end up with "bad boys"? If you can't show me proof then your assumption would be just as wrong as my assumption about men being rapists.

"There is a ridiculously high chance that you do that anyway, whether you'll admit to it on Reddit or not." What if I said there's a ridiculously high chance you're a rapist? I'd be wrong for judging you because you're a man, right? Then why is it okay for you to judge me because I'm a woman? "I will gladly associate all women who go for bad boys with people who say they want "real men"" You still haven't told me why this is a valid association.

I'm not a teenager, if that's what you're implying. So from what I understand you feel it's okay to generalize women based on the anecdotes of yourself and some other men. Would it be justified for me (as a woman) to generalize all men based on the experiences of myself and some other women?

And how do you connect the women who purposely choose to date bad men to women who say they want real men? Where is the evidence of this connection?

Sure. Depends on what is meant by "all these women" first of all.

It isn't going to work. It's going to backfire on you in the worst way and when you see your child you're going to remember the fact that you wanted him/her aborted. It will haunt you for the rest of your life.

"But all these women who want "real men" choose to date guys who abuse them or leave them while pregnant." Can you prove this accusation?
/r/MensRights17/02/13 05:15 AM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
