I put inheritance in joint bank account. Am I fucked?State specific. Talk to your lawyer on rights . Engage a forensic accountant if needed to substantiate where the money came from. Worth having a subject matter experts here on that $$$$ value. | /r/Divorce_Men | 14/10/25 07:58 PM
What did YOU do wrong?Apparently I am a narcissist sociopath. I am so good at manipulation I got the marriage counselor to completely agree with me instead of me Stbxw. I am also so good at manipulation I got opposing counsel to agree with my asset split being fair and equitable, even though Stbxw knows I am screwing her over. | /r/Divorce_Men | 10/10/25 12:07 AM
HostileIf you don’t provide a lawyer for them to serve the papers to, they will file and you will get served directly. Buying weeks here at best. Once served you would be best to respond per the summons. I suggest you lawyer up. Judges do not take kindly to people making a mockery of the justice system by ignoring court orders to respond/appear/etc. | /r/Divorce_Men | 08/10/25 06:47 PM

I know they are 100% on the side of my ex so there’s never going to be a friendship. But we can be good neighbors when interacting with our shared family tree. | /r/Divorce_Men | 30/09/25 11:20 AM |
STBX is trying to keep all the pets. We had originally agreed to split them up...I let mine go. Kids send me pics. Plenty of other shelter pets need love. | /r/Divorce_Men | 09/09/25 11:11 PM
How do you fill your time?i go to the gym now and spend a lot of time there. exercise, then use the recovery stuff like their massage chairs. create a positive 3rd space. i also visit a coffee shop every weekend. its about a 35 minute walk. then i sit and sip coffee for an hour, people watch, then walk home. renewed my library card and hang out. lot more than just books these days. mine has a jig saw puzzle out on a table. so i'll put a few pieces in there. people watch. when the weather starts cooling, will likely look … | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/09/25 04:04 PM
Any experience with terminating alimony based on cohabitation? We must have married the same woman. Narcissist talk track she got from her therapist only caring about money. Never appreciating the life I provided. And now she’s trying to argue for a 70/30 asset split. | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/09/25 12:00 AM
