Aw man let me share a story real quick. Just met this girl over an invite for a plus one to a Deadmau5 show. We meet up on the line for the show and proceed to have a great time at the show. Only one way to find out brother. You get extra points for bravery when approaching for that reason which actually helps your game and stand out from the sea of guys who wouldn't dare. Again I have small experience but the guys she with at the gym are platonic and sometimes gay. Shoot your shot! Always dare never deer.

Still working on building my field experience so take this as a grain of salt. It probably not a coincidence and she's doing her part to give you an opportunity while maintaining her plausible deniability. Approach, rejection is better than regret.
