| 3 | Talking with strangers..I second this--have you ever noticed in some chain stores, every time an employee passes you they'll greet you, and it usually feels quite genuine. When I worked at a Safeway grocery store, I soon really liked doing that, because acting confident and welcoming makes you feel that way and brightens your mood. Just a hi, how are you, a nod, how's it goin'--in all those places where you regularly go--go for it. You are a regular, it's your place, just act that way.
