"Thinking about being a sugar baby...." Pretty sure that's something that someone else makes you, not something you get to choose to become. Have the order-of-operations backwards there. May want a plan B. The presence of a child indicates she doesn't have a history of thinking about plan B.

For a while this was a thing. I remember seeing a couple "shock and outrage" news stories about it. Craigslist usually cracks down on stuff that brings them negative publicity so I wouldn't be surprised if it got shut down.

You're taking this personally. You probably shouldn't. Pointing out that an expression is meaningless isn't pretentious. Hoping that other men will appreciate logical arguments isn't pretentious. But go ahead, tell me I'm retarded again, that really made you look smart.

Excellent retort. Really helping assert us men as the 'logical ones'.

Even in that context, it is meaningless. It's a goddamn tautology. There is never going to be an instance, where a situation is other than what it is. If your desire is to express resignation, or say that you have no influence over a situation, say that. Don't let a vapid, obvious trinket like "it is what it is" stumble out of your mouth.

It is a silly saying. It is a lazy saying. A thing is never what it isn’t. People often trot this saying out in lieu of actually contributing to a discussion.

By-and-large: it’s bullshit. However, the last three bulletpoints are solid. Almost willing to give her a pass based on those three, alone.

She used him. It is that simple.

“…picky and hate men…Yes, I’ll probably be single forever…” That’s what we call a self-fulfilling prophecy

I rarely wish ill on strangers. There is a big nasty world out there just waiting to teach her some rather difficult lessons though.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
