This is more of a cultural issue in my opinion. I don’t think Americans are smart enough to not abuse alcohol, it’s just adding more to glaring issues our system hasn’t tackled properly. Drinking alcohol is bad for you so removing that law would only entice more people. Height doesn't really matter unless you are somewhat proportional and built. Being overweight or fat makes you look shorter. Also the clothes you wear can make you look shorter, like pants that don't taper at the bottom or shirts that are too long. I remember someone from High School that was around 6'4 and he was a pretty big dude, 2 years later and he lost a ton of weight and his face was more narrow and he looked waaaay taller than I remembered but he was still 6'4 he said.

Unless the articles are from the same person, I think this shouldn't be cherry picked like this. Looks are important but I have friends and people I know that can get people more attractive than them because of how charismatic and funny they are. You should take care of your looks and be the best version of yourself atheistically as you can but also practice and improve your charisma and personality. At the end of the day, that’s ultimately what’s more important, looks fade away, so use that to your advantage but also realize it’s not the most important thing in the world.
