Wait until you see their google search: “abdominal pain after anal > oral > vaginal”

I’d rather be alone in happiness than together in misery. I was in the same situation myself at 39. Three years later, there are always going to be hard days, but I can always look back with complete satisfaction at my decision to leave.

I swear I’m one more relationship away from finding another straight guy, getting married, and having tons of cool guy shit together to enjoy. Just date who we want to date and live independently for the most part.

Maybe It’s due to my being through someone completely different but I couldn’t give a damn I find anyone else at this point. I learned through the last years of marriage that the only person I need in life is myself. Sure a partner can be nice at times but it goes both ways. Good riddance I say.

Because they’re certifiably psychotic by nature.

Why marry in the first place? What do you really gain from signing that contract? Does it somehow enrich the relationship and bring you closer knowing that the state and federal governments acknowledge your union?

Right there with you. My STBX was banging some guy on the side “secretly” or so she thought. For months after I separated she kept bringing up the fact that this was on me since she still wanted it to work out. All whilst still dating her side piece. Wait out as long as you can stand it. Wait it out as much as you can and document everything you can. Keep your nose clean. Just remember this can slowly whittle away at your sanity so don’t stay deep too long.

Sorry to hear this brother. It can be tough but you have to remember that with time you’ll heal completely and can build an even better life than before. Sounds like she did you a favor. Woman, in my experience, are all bat shit crazy emotionally driven/controlled lunatics. You just need to focus on finding one that can reel it in. I was fortunate enough to have had a wife that I couldn’t rely on for a damn thing aside from causing constant anxiety and heart arrhythmia. The best thing that ever …

This one made me think a little. I’m doing my best to raise her with the knowledge that she needs to be capable and rely on nobody else for support in life, especially a man. This way, should a relationship go awry, she’ll be able to take care of herself. So I guess the answer is yes. Otherwise marriage in this context would be nothing more than a security blanket for her and as we here in this sub have seen, it’s anything but.

At no age should a man get married imo. That entire institution is a joke. The fact that I need a piece of paper from my government to acknowledge my union irritates me. Outside of a few tax breaks, I see no benefit whatsoever. You can have just as strong and as meaningful of a relationship without ever bringing that into it.

Shit cured me of almost all of my health issues. Doctors would have had me eating pills like a bowl of Kix every morning had I not cured myself.

Kevin Hart does a bit about catching his girlfriend camping out in the trunk of his car trying to catch him cheating. Catches her and He sees her see him seeing her and she runs back home. When he gets home to confront her she proceeds to deny the entire thing happened. I always thought he made it up until this actually happened to me…. Right there with you brother https://youtu.be/6EzSQ26Ya-0

Nobody should need support, period. Any breathing adult without a disability should be setting up their life so that they can completely take care of themselves. An adult dependent is a scary ass thing. There’s not a damn thing you can do to fix it as it is all on them. Good luck

No chance of making it work as a partnership? 30 years is a long time to grow and change. I have to imagine most of the kids are grown up and out of the house. If you still enjoy each other’s company and share common interests there’s a chance you could salvage the relationship to a degree.

I’m honestly done with marriage, probably forever. The entire concept it is just ridiculous. I need a piece of paper from the government in order to validate my relationship with someone else?

Wife was on her N-th affair and I had it. I was done. Then she blamed me for giving up. Things can’t be more clear for me now and I’ve never been happier since I ended it. She’ll never change. Being married for those 13 years taught me the best lesion of my life: I don’t NEED a single person in my life but me. My dad said: “you might not know what you want in a woman, but you sure as hell know what you dont”.

Hey man. 39 divorce here. I’m through changing. I am who I am and I don’t need a damn thing from anyone to live. 40 years on this planet and I’ve done all the changing I can do. Time to enjoy me and if someone else does that’s good to.

Perfectly rational. Don’t need a piece of white paper from the government in order to validate a relationship.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
