| 1 | Giving Gillette some perspective:Men who’s partners purchase razors for them do. It’s not an empty segment | /r/PussyPassDenied | 19/01/19 02:48 AM |
| 1 | Giving Gillette some perspective:Honestly, who gives a fuck. They hit the exact target audience they were going for- the women who buy products for their male partners. It is a segment that exists and is certainly not empty. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 19/01/19 02:22 AM |
| 0 | Giving Gillette some perspective:If by failed, you mean targeted the exact audience that buys a ton of healthcare products for men and made them enjoy their advertising- you're correct. Gillette is losing a lot of market share to dollar-shave club and to harry's razors right now. Switching their marketing to have a "stance" is the same way Dove did it to "support women's bodies" and was successful (ignoring the one 'scandal' about women getting upset about the bottles). | /r/PussyPassDenied | 19/01/19 02:17 AM |
