I would call those examples of male disposability, not toxic masculinity. "Toxic masculinity" is a term exclusively used by feminists to pin the blame of men's problems back on men, or "the patriarchy" (which boils down to men). Toxic masculinity takes dysfunctional traits that can be present in either sex and frames them not only as the male norm, but as some sort of traditional male ideal.

the male gender has many objectified/stereotypical depictions in gaming I also believe that gaming needs to grow up. It was a generic over-the-shoulder pose shared across several character models, including the male ones, but the complainant interpreted it as too sexually suggestive for that particular character. The pose was then replaced for a classic pinup pose.
