I would probably use the word “tolerate” instead of “entertain”. Those men tolerate someone they consider a placeholder while giving her just enough breadcrumbs to keep her entertained. If a man acts like a child, does gross shit, doesn’t do his share of chores, most women will be dry like the Sahara desert no matter how attractive he is.
