Aww, I'm in a similar situation. We've been together almost 5 months now. I never thought I'd meet someone like him. He's unreal. I never thought I'd have a solid relationship with a guy who worships with me and wants a future with me. Someone so sweet, genuine, affectionate, giving. I want a future with him. He makes me feel so safe. If for some reason I don't, he's the new standard. Nothing less. Fuck all of that hot and cold, hump and dump bullshit. Never again.

My current boyfriend keeps emphasizing he wants us to see my and his apartments as belonging to us both, so that it's like we each have two places to live. It's cute. What kind of 'boyfriend' says shit like in the screenshot? My god

This comment. Holy yikes. This makes me so sad for her. I used to be like this, deluding myself into thinking guys, especially from Tinder, wanted me for anything other than seven-second sex, after which you'd promptly get kicked out. And then getting talked into unprotected sex with a stranger...horrific. "He's barely texted me since then too but that's not super unusual..." Oh, honey. I can't stop reading the Tinder sub for ultimate cringe. I also apparently like getting myself into a rage ove…

one time in a post about terrible hook ups with guys who don't care on r/sex, i said something about guys usually cumming no matter whom they're with or regardless of the fact they've known the person for five minutes and i got dogpiled and whatabouted until the end of time

it's horrific. right now i have a bf tho because i randomly stumbled upon the sweetest, most open guy i've ever met. he's pretty unreal and i'm so happy. but he's the only quality guy i've ever met, literally. and i've met dozens

Imagine making almost 200k a year and exactly splitting rent with your spouse, who makes a quarter of what you do...and takes care of your child to boot. I'm sick. What the fuck kind of man is he? Holy shit. I'm infuriated for her. What is this? How could he be that cruel? Lol, as if splitting is remotely fair or reasonable in that scenario. '$1600 extra a month isn't enough for you?' Is he kidding? It's clearly not nearly enough for him. Fucking hypocrite much? I don't understand how you could …

oh wow, i love this. now that i've had sex with someone who loves me and someone whom i care deeply about, i can never go back to casual sex. it's so much better it's not even funny. it gets better the more i know him, each time. i actually feel things. he truly cares if i cum, and i think i might actually be able to orgasm from just penetration one day. which before was absolutely unfathomable i know i can't beat myself up about it but i'm sad about how many gross hookups i've had. you live and…

no offense but this seems like a ton of projection + what’s the point of getting hung up on someone you can see like once a year, if that?

Guy I’m dating now is amazing with this. We didn’t have sex until our 5th or 6th meeting (FDS lite...I’m getting there) so the times before that, we spent literal hours kissing each time. Just making out, no oral. Even now when I see him the first thing we do is kiss for 20+ minutes. And it’s never necessarily a precursor to sex...it just is. Then we cuddle and talk and shit. It’s so great. Sometimes I like it more than sex. Can feel more intimate sometimes and is less messy 🤭 Once I met this ma…

Really relatable, damn. Got my first post-college job and am not used to being able to buy myself things so just went...WAY overboard. Used to be a minimalist (wasn’t much of a choice lmao) but lost it. Culminated recently in buying a new phone I didn’t really need. On a credit card...that drew me in by randomly upping my limit after two years right as I was thinking about buying the phone and right as I was getting super close to paying the dumb thing off. I feel so bad. But I’m regaining contr…

This is just so heartbreaking and enraging. Every time. Men just treat women like garbage. Like their lives mean nothing. Makes my stomach turn

I’ve never been in a relationship before. It’s new and I don’t know how to act. Like, do I still never text first, be aloof and slightly unavailable, etc.? I’ll never text first anyway, really...I don’t wanna play mind games but I don’t want it to be too easy for him already, you know?Should it be? I have no idea what I’m doing. If you’re talking attachment styles he screams secure in every way, so I don’t think being aloof will make him like me more (I wouldn’t want to be with someone like that…

well here i was mostly trying to say i don’t think i’ll ever meet anyone like him again, not necessarily not feel like this again. but that’s somewhat the same thing i guess lol. i totally get what you mean and that’s a good point and thank you :)

Sounds about right. I’m 23. I’ve met dozens of men from apps and they were all horrific. I’m currently in a shit town, so boredom led me to keep swiping. The difference is that by this point I had no qualms about being ghosted or disappointed. It’s not remotely personal; it’s just the way these trash bags are. I was secure. I expected the worst and didn’t fear it. I also knew as long as I didn’t have casual sex I couldn’t really feel used or out of control (it also just sucks massively for me). …

Truly. I lived near a base for a bit in a small city so had slim pickings...first one I met was a creepy ass love bomber who scared the shit out of me, asked me to be his girlfriend on the SECOND date (which was the day after the FIRST!), and terrified me when he tried to pressure me into sex by saying, “what about MY needs?” Oh, and he carried a gun, on his person, which he didn’t tell me ahead of time. That was the only time I’ve ever been scared of a guy. The drive back (yeah, I know, no car,…

It was legit painful to witness. Lowkey infuriating, too, especially because you know you'd literally never see it the other way around. Amazing.

How did one guy not even know her fucking birthday? Her EYE color? It's tragic how this is normal, expected, and supposedly cute, AND how we've normalized it so much that we're supposed to laugh about it. It's not funny. It's disgusting, pathetic, and extremely disheartening.

my new bf and i both hadn’t had a v day in a relationship before. the bar is legitimately on the floor, but he’s the most wonderful male i’ve ever met. i feel like this whole thing has to be a joke, because no guy could ever be this genuine or kind. or have like all the desirable traits imaginable. he doesn’t watch porn (somehow has no interest), doesn’t care about my (accidentally revealed, way-larger-than-his) “number,” is super close with his mom, comes from money but doesn’t act like it, pay…

that post is so disgusting i don't know where to start. it's sad because you know SO many men are like this and think this way. abhorrent. misogynist. pathetic. delusional. imagine being basically a 40-year-old virgin and such a picky asshole prick. but i guess that's literally why he's never had sex, not because of his looks, whatever they are. it's because he's an awful, miserable, sick person. the entitlement is out of this world! i don't think it is, but this could very well be a shit post. …

don't text first, basically. it really weeds them out. it took me forever to realize that if you ever feel like you have to text them in order to see them, they don't give a shit. with my new bf, i never once texted him first. he just kept coming back and back and asking to see me and initiating. it was great...i never needed to lift a finger. once we became official he started texting me even more and he's initiated every conversation, every time. i love it. it's then that i know he actually ca…
