Yes! I've heard this before. It just means they've not only romanticized but embraced their character flaws, bad habits, and poor behavior. Usually a personality disorder or serious sexual deviancy.

My mom is 50 and very, very beautiful. Right now she has a lot of silver hair because she hasn't gotten her blonde touched up -- and she also doesn't wear makeup or anything extra -- yet she receives a lot of interest from men wherever she goes, including from young attractive men. This myth that women lose desirability with age is just that: a myth.

This self-unaware attitude summarizes LV/NV Christian men too. They desire feminine and submissive women who are willing to sacrifice their careers to be stay at home moms and support their husbands from the home -- yet they get super butt mad when Christian women expect traditionally masculine partners who are confident, decisive, take the lead, pay and plan for dates, abstain from pornography, and are capable of providing. I've been lurking at one of the Christian dating subs recently, and the…

Yes, I feel the same way! I revamped my wardrobe and began embracing feminine clothes (summer dresses, off shoulder tops, mini skirts, heels), but the attention I received from men was negative: sexually objectifying, very demeaning, even aggressive. Between breaking my ankle (I was on crutches and NOT in the mood to look cute) and wearing a face mask, I began wearing baggy unisex clothes, and noticed the attention died down in the best way possible: I felt more anonymous and safer overall. Thes…

I believe this is the forum I used to participate on several years ago, and it was still an issue then. It's all about natural long hair care (advice, recipes for natural deep conditioners, growth progress updates, etc), and there was a notable subset of religious minded or pious women active on there too, so the overall vibe was pretty modest or polite, definitely not a vulgar environment. However male fetishists were a real issue -- they'd register accounts to access pics and contact users wit…

Love this! 👏 👏👏 Michael is a HVM not because he's 100% perfect, but because he makes 100% EFFORT.

When LVM are attracted to women they will pursue "platonic" friendships while low-key waiting for their moment to escalate romantically/sexually.... it's sneaky and cowardly, and these men were were never our friends to begin with.... Like the men you date, you also need to SERIOUSLY vet your male friends too. You would never date a LVM so don't befriend one either. Be guarded, maintain strong boundaries, and never be afraid to cut ties on the spot.

A memorable online dating profile I came across last year included a man who said, "I briefly considered becoming a gynecologist; I think pregnant women are sexy." He also identified himself as a non-monogomous kink-friendly Christian who was eager to settle down with a family of his own. 🤢🤮

This is very helpful! I came across these terms once before but I didn't really understand -- but you explained it well thank you! 👏

You are not alone! My mom is white and my dad is Asian. His family was incredibly sexist and treated my mom subhuman -- his mother even said, "wives are replaceable but your mother is forever." Wtf??? I'm not at all a self-hating Asian but I have serious reservations about dating an Asian guy depending on his (and his family's beliefs) about a, "woman's place."

The solution isn't for women to lower themselves to meet men at the bottom, but for men to start holding themselves to higher standards and meet women at the top. When a woman marries below herself she ends up being the wife, husband, mother, AND father. At that point what's the point of even having him around??? Better to date at your level or above -- or not at all. Edit: also notice they acknowledged the ONLY thing men value in a woman is her APPEARNCE. They literally do not care about a woma…

I'm a self-taught artist but you don't need any formal training to develop your skill. Youtube has MANY talented content creators who demonstrate techniques and tips to improve, all of which have been extremely helpful in my own progress. For photo realistic drawing: Heather Rooney is such a good teacher; for water colors, there's an amazing youtube channel Watercolors By Shibasaki, who is a sweet elderly Japanese man who is very humble and calming and will teach you step by step; and for oil pa…

Drawing & painting Guitar Crochet Reading & writing And I'm thinking about getting a pair of roller skates. 🤙 My hobbies are everything because they keep my stress low (well usually lol) and give me a tremendous sense of accomplishment. I seriously recommend everyone find a healthy obsession -- finding something you love and watching yourself improve is so wonderful for your self-esteem.

It's not impolite to ask! I've personally requested women doctors in the past and never once was I asked to explain myself or justify it or anything.

I would love to be a traditional fulltime mother and housewife e.g. homesteading, homeschooling, caring for our children and animals and garden, having time to dedicate to my art and music; I don't take issue with shouldering domestic responsibilities as long as he fulfils his obligations as a man, husband, and father. However being 100% dependent on anyone is a huge gamble because at the end of the day people fail. Better to play it safe and pursue my ambitions outside the home, maintain a supp…

I've noticed guys younger than 25ish tend to date with a ~see wHeRe things gO~ mindset without much understanding of what their actual relationship values, goals, and expectations are.

She's an example of what happens when you take a cute and charming woman with low self-esteem and pair her with a LVM. She was crazy devoted to her bf and completely degraded herself to make him love her e.g. wife stuff, sex stuff, waiting on him hand and foot, agreeing with him on everything, and forcing herself to like all the things he likes. He dangled a ring in front of her for YEARS and had her chasing breadcrumbs. Dude is literally 10 years older than her and his first wife left him becau…
