You’re so wrong. My ex-husband was short (5’5”) and had tons of sex with lots of different women. He was a ladies man. I divorced him because he cheated on me. He had lots of self-confidence and didn’t care that he was short. It was a non-issue for him. That why he got lots of sex, and you don’t. It’s all about the self-confidence.

You’re wrong. Why are you being so obtuse?

Yes exactly. There was another post similar to this a couple of days ago; all the women who dated shorter guys said their height wasn’t an issue for them, they were out there living their best life. I married a guy who was shorter than me; he didn’t care about his height at all, he was a ladies’ man and had lots of women interested in him. I divorced him because he cheated on me with a coworker, not because he was short. It’s the insecurities that’s the problem. No one likes to hear their potent…

I’m not sure all men would agree on this. In my experience with men - Men love a woman who is witty and intelligent but generally laid back and friendly, and can hold interesting conversations about all kinds of subjects. A vapid personality, aggressiveness/bitchiness or being high-maintenance isn’t something they generally appreciate when looking for a partner. None of these would matter though if they’re just looking to get laid, or maybe just looking for some kind of trophy wife that will hav…

I’m a sucker for a great smile. Way more than eyes, I’m always looking at the lower face. I have to remind myself to look in their eyes when they’re talking to me, but it’s because I love smiles so much. Great teeth is a must for me. I’m not talking veneers (I hate fake white smiles), I’m talking about impeccable dental hygiene and generally straight teeth, don’t need to be perfect. Sometimes a little crooked tooth can be cute. I don’t have much of a preference for lips, as long as they fit with…

My first husband was shorter than me by an inch. I’m 5’6” and he’s 5’5”. I wore white silk flats for the wedding. I absolutely hate wearing heels anyways, so that part didn’t bother me. I left him because he was cheating on me. With multiple women. He had no issue with going after women, he would love bomb and woo them all while I was at home caring for the children. He was a ladies’ man but he disrespected me. He didn’t care about his height. He had a lot of self-confidence, but he also had wha…

I don’t care overall, I’m very secure in my own appearance so if they want to look at models they can go ahead. As long as they realize everything on Instagram is photoshopped to hell and back, and the model actually looks quite different IRL. All they offer is a fantasy. I would definitely object if my partner was sending them DMs and/or money. That’s my boundary. Also if the obsession over insta models became a problem in our bedroom or our day-to-day communication. This would probably be more…

I’m a woman and dating was fucking awful for me. Not fun at all. I’m much above average in attractiveness and take very good care of myself from a health and beauty standpoint, and I have a great career. But 99% of men are just so fucking boring when they go on a date. They have no personality and they can’t hold a decent conversation. Personality is everything to me. Or they come on way too strong about their views on things, which was a turnoff as I’m in no mood to get steamrolled. If a guy sh…

Agree with this. A coffee date is the perfect first date.

It’s not always a question of ‘making the man wait’ it’s because sex is a very intimate act which always carries some level of personal risk, and I want to make sure I know the man well enough to feel safe. I can’t get that in 2 dates, sorry. And yes that’s pissed off some men into ghosting me. Good riddance, it’s my timeline not theirs. I met my husband online in a game chat. I liked how he was insightful, helpful and polite to everyone, even the teens. We started very slowly to communicate by …

I dislike the notion of a BB ‘average man’. In my experience all men have something special you just need to find it. Patterns of attraction have so much to do with your childhood and how you were socialized. If a woman was socialized and told to want certain things of a man then that’s what’s going to happen unless she gains a certain level of self-awareness. I’ve seen this in action. Growing up my very intellectual father always told me ‘never depend on a man for money. Always have your own in…

That’s just because there are far less women on Reddit, and even less that are single and looking.

I think that if someone is extremely shy around women it may be a good idea to get some ‘friends’ practice in beforehand. Some men haven’t been socialized at all around women, and need to start from the beginning.

Plenty of men don’t bring anything to the table either. PLENTY. You’re making so many illogical assumptions and false equivalencies in your comments, my head is spinning. I read your post out loud to my husband, he says you have such a bad attitude he’s not surprised you’re struggling with dating. Women can feel it when you have a bad attitude towards them, and it’s a huge turn-off. You’re the definition of a self-fulfilling prophecy with all the bad energy you’re oozing behind your keyboard. Ge…

What you’re saying is incredibly toxic and harmful to you. Whoever told you this is lying. Just keep on taking good care of yourself and you’ll be fine. Men aren’t any better than women and no they certainly don’t age better. I got remarried at age 45 and my husband is very handsome. I take good care of myself and I look great, I always have lots of male attention. Please have more confidence in yourself, that is very attractive. ❤️🥰
