I wouldn't suggest "let me help you with your English". Fast track to friend zone. Very beta. Also feels quite deceptive and lame. I used to try it with girls when I was an afc, didn't get me shit. Do something physical and outdoors where you can use Kino. Bowling, sports - build up attraction. I'd take her to a club or bars. Places where you can combine kino and alcohol. Best way to overcome language barrier. I live in a non-english speaking country so I'm pretty familiar with this dilema.

I read this a day ago and kind of dismissed it as something that would work but would never apply to me because I can't DHV another language. But then it occured to me that this might work even if you only had a very limited command of the language. If you took away the objective of the women, that sounds like a pretty epic night regardless. I've often been called out on being arrogant or "annoyingly confident" at a club or bar. TBH, I feel it has never affected my ability to get anywhere with the girl, however, it is an unwanted label and one that I certainly don't know how to remove without exhibiting "beta" behaviour. Nice to read such a successful field report. "I am a foreigner and not an English teacher so my DHV is pretty much done automatically." This statement caught my attention. After finishing my degree I'm thinking of teaching English in Japan. Is being an English teacher in Japan a DLV? Also, how important are Japanese language skills?
