I agree that they're probably going a little overboard on this particular kid, but he's serving as an example. Shitty for the kid, but hopefully an eye opener for the little shits on the internet that think because they're at a computer, they are safe to say whatever, whenever, wherever and not face any consequences. At the same time, there's probably lots we don't know. Maybe they looked into his browsing habits and there were red flags.

It's the wording, the tone, and I think mostly, simply just having confidence, even if that confidence is based solely on something as simple as not caring what the outcome is. But the real key is...respect. Plain and simple. If you give anyone and everyone the basic human respect that everyone deserves, things tend to go a lot more favourably.

I don't want to bash the article too much because at least it is acknowledging that there's a problem with gender that isn't one-sided and black-and-white. But you are right about the undertone that screams that feminism is the -only- real and true movement and anyone involved with MRM is just sulking.. This is probably the best thing to do. Gather up a bunch of info, the more you can get from reputable, known sources, the more serious she'll take it. At the end of the day, as it's not your child, the best you can do is try to ensure she's informed and hope for the best.

I agree. They knew in advance he wanted to do it, and told him not to. He disobeyed and did it anyway. I do think a three day in-school suspension was a bit much, however. Well, that was easy; they had a remote control and could choose who would have the machine fail for. So all the women probably got their treat without anything getting stuck, and probably only the men had it fail on them.
