I agree. I’ve not only been able to easily maintain 6 of my closest friendships since high school (or earlier in some cases) but have also made several new close friends since. I keep in touch with most of them every day. Don’t know what I’d do without them.

Wow just realized I assumed your gender, and probably did so incorrectly, which explains your comment. My bad 🙄

In all seriousness, you should post this to r/sex it’s a good idea, and there’s nothing worse than making your partner lay and wait while you grab something to clean up with. But from a seduction stand point, this screams “this guy knows what he’s doing” which would likely be a turn on.

You don’t owe her anything. If the only reason you’re staying with her is to avoid dealing with the financial/personal logistics of the living situation then that should be a strong indication it’s time to end it ASAP. Just sit her down, look her in the eye, and be honest. You got yourself into this situation, you can get yourself out. There’s never going to be a perfect time. Also, wrong sub??? (Try r/relationships next time)

Sounds like she’s moving on. You should too. Take some time to make yourself a person a girl would be lucky to have and get back in the game. You’ll be alright.

Don’t do it unless you want to end up back together with her.

This really is as simple as it gets. I love animated break downs of concepts like this - although the actual content may be common knowledge to many of the users on this sub. The narrator's accent, articulation, and stream of thoughts presented the knowledge in a refreshing and insightful way. Thanks for posting.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
