I think the biggest problem with Gale's posts is his introduction. When i first read these "Hi i am IamGale, the marketing guy...." lines i instantly thought what an with self-esteem overloaded idiot and closed that tab. Luckily i came back later to read it out of curiosity and then also enjoyed most of his fellow posts. His intro surely makes him recognizable, but (as you more or less already pointed out) it somehow provokes a hostile position before you were even able to see what this post is …

Yeah you are right. Only problem with government paying for children is, that the dumb and lazy humans will spread their genes like Dschingis Khan, because it is even cheaper than buying a condom. While the intelligent won't because they are not interested in wasting their time educating etc.. Reminds me of the movie Idiocracy...

Dude get out of these depression subreddits. People don't say "you are a product of your environment" for nothing.

Was thinking exactly the same, i see no value at all in this site. If you want book reviews look at amazon.

This video made me quite angry. But then i remembered something i have read some time ago: Jobs like accountant lawyer etc. will be the first being abundant with the progression of technology, i.e. artificial intelligence. "While men will see approximately one job gained for every three lost over the next five years, women face more than five jobs lost for every one gained." http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-3404547/Robots-new-working-ways-cost-5-mln-jobs-2020-Davos-study-says.html …

I love that "women can't understand them and get bored" part :D I share a flat with a girl (student, me too) and thought before moving in, that we will have some interesting conversations... I knew nothing.

I said i freeze when about to physically escalate. I have no problem at all when talking to attractive women. I even share my flat with one but this is another story. Don't know about english, but in my native language no problem does't equal perfectly fine. No problem means the system can be improved while perfectly fine means the system is optimal and can't be further be improved. All the best on your journey too.

Yeah after thinking a bit longer about this i realized that i gave up improving my social skills, after i got rid of my shyness and was able to act average or at least what is average in my point of view. I totally forgot that I don't have to eliminate my weaknesses but make them my strengths. That really helped me i think. Thank you so much!

I take the first part of your answer as a compliment ;) It was absolutely not my aim to appear arrogant, i just tried to give you a good and open view on my situation. Well i don't see my social skills as a problem anymore. I have to admit that my self of 3 or 4 years ago was a shy sucker afraid to talk to strangers. But i worked on that and have developed a fulfilling social life in my opinion apart from getting laid. Thank you for your comment too.

Yeah thank you. I know that my social skills are definitely not my biggest weakness, but i will take your advice even though i hate small talk because it is so shallow. But surely a good way to improve social skills and having another goal.

Hi there, don't do it. suicide is a permanent solution for a temporary problem. I have once heard about a book that might be able to give you some motivation here: http://www.amazon.de/The-Dip-Little-Teaches-Stick/dp/1591841666 i have to admit that i didn't found the time by now to read it but i will definitely give it a try. Also engineering student here, also 22, also virgin, horribly low t-level etc etc etc. I think every human needs some meaning in life. If you haven't found yours yet, give …
